Portable Vaporizers, and Vaping CBD

I'm trying to decide between the Davinci Ascent and Arizer Solo. They both get pretty glowing reviews, but I'm not sure which one would be best for my needs.
The Ascent looks like a great choice because it's incredibly discreet and perfect for personal use anywhere. It also has virtually unlimited temperature flexibility. The downsides are that people seem to prefer convection vapes like the Solo over conduction vapes like the Ascent. I've heard though that the Ascent uses a technologically superior"longwave" infrared heat that actually heats the bowl evenly.
I like the Solo because its primarily convection (no personal experience but people say this is a strong plus), and it has the best reviews for a portable convection vape. It's also a bit cheaper.
As far as the functional differences go, the Ascent would be a better choice because it's so much more portable and it's geared towards personal use or use between a couple friends as opposed to the Solo which seems better for a larger group. What I'm really getting hung on though is heating efficiency. Which device would get the material closest to the heat actually dialed in? I ask because my dry "material" is high CBD, and CBD boils off at a much higher temperature than THC (360F and 320F respectively). If I set either vape to 390F am I really going to be heating the material up to 390 on both, or am I going to lose 30-40deg and just barely be vaping off the CBD contained in it???
Thanks in advance for any help. I've looked for topics on this issue before but most seem to be filled with just personal opinions or people who don't know what they're talking about.

I don't own either, but I'd suspect that two well-reviewed and popular vapes have pretty accurate heating capabilities
