Where is the Self?
    #19215722 - 12/02/13 02:24 AM (10 years, 2 months ago)

When someone is called by name, but they are second guessing the call, they sometimes ask "Me?" - and point at them selves. They always point with their index finger. When I do it I also extend my thumb 90 degrees to the index finger. This is a very simple question that proves a point and opens a topic. Where do people point - specifically - when they do this?

:uhno:

Sometimes I point at my face, sometimes I point at my chest.

I don't see any significance in this.

Maybe I'm pointing at my SOUL or INNER BEING.

the individuality of the body vs reality out of different things beings

it proves that individuality exist, as the body is also alone functioning

that is how we point at physical objects too, that function individually ... a chair is not a reality with something else or a table or a wall or anything we can see among everything ..

self metaphysically, is existing subjective freedom superiority quality determined by the recognition of objective fact as being else existence

it is like, when you recognize truth existence you become the most free superior quality that justify yourself being truly existing too, and subjectively, so by your own present will or mean

this is why conscious is always wrong, from what it would surely mean and want to abuse any sense of being over truth, so to  be through lies force,  by forcing wills and means

and that is how if you found good people so positive selves that wont act as superior to else, it is exception to conscious being and you cannot generalize it at all on the contrary, it points those selves as right beings themselves only unique..

there is no such inner being nor souls.. these are to lies fabrications for false justifications used by powers over anyone right individual existence in truth

existence is only objective reality rights, objective plural freedom superiority communications .. rights of those freedoms to exist individually, as they are superior value then the reality they contribute to do by recognizing others present rights in values

anything else, so whatever is not related to else objective reality, is nothing .. not existing ..that is why free individual existence is mainly about conscious individual beings present reality with else, so the superficial needs and sense of individuals beings realities still ..

it is about their rights to be free, to realize their own selves needs and to free themselves from others senses on their beings ..when they are still right respecting true existence value

to cut it short, you are only what you do outside of you

anything in you, is not you

this is how truth work, so any is only true freedom possibilities objectively

I notice that people point to their chest, or the heart chakra. I think people do this subconsciously knowing that is where the I resides.

Or where do you feel emotions ?

I don't believe the self has a spatial location as the self is not physical.  The body/brain has a spatial location, but this is only relevant if you think the self IS the body or brain.

The Japanese touch their noses when they refer to themselves.

I'm not sure where I'm located. (tee hee) Open for question, but who's questioning? :kingtard:

No, I don't really think that, but when I is ego, it is residing there, fme.

I (ego) is controlling the emotional element of who you are.

So you believe the ego is a physical thing located within the body?

I didn't know that. I wonder why? Is it traditional, cultural, or conscious in another way more than a subconscious decision?

No.

I believe ego is entangled within the emotional center, through thoughts or the brain.

Ego is just a thought or idea, but it has real effects on the energy body.
