I've done meth off and on for 3 years.
was a responsible healthy user of psychedelics before that.
It let the "devil" in.
Never gone more than 4 days up. usually only using about once a month and still it fucked up my peace of mind and sense of well being. Have a lot of guilt over using meth first in front of, and later with a person that i love very much. It totally fucked up our relationship.
I wold say it's fine if used responsibly but that's just a tweaker logic trick. I can do responsible things while on meth but I can't do meth responsibly. After you know what it does to you (and every tweaker knows!!!!!) using it is essentially a self destructive activity.

i never did anything stupid on it. i did it regularly during high school for a short period of time and then it was around in my early 20's. i saw a lot of other people get fucked up from it but for me it was never something i had trouble with. it's a bad world to live in though.

Lower dose: When I take a low dose of meth I won't feel high. Everything feels normal. Did it even work? But then when I start doing things they are much more fun. Everything is motivating, everything is enjoyable. I can concentrate much better on what I'm doing and it almost seems as though my brain works better, I can think faster, more creatively etc.
Socially I feel connected/intune with everyone. Think MDMA but without the "derp." I'm quite functional on meth, in fact it's just like being sober but in an ideal energetic/motivated state.
Higher dose: Higher doses of meth can fill me with a rushing, orgasmic motivation/excitement. I can do anything, be anything, say anything, think anything. No limits, life is good. Very pleasurable experience.
The cons: Anorexia - While on meth appetite is suppressed. You need to be the conscious decision to eat, even if you don't want to or risk malnutrition. Insomnia - It can be tempting to stay away for days at a time on meth. There's just so much more life to LIVE and I'm not even tired yet. WRONG. Meth takes a lot out of the brain, it needs time to rest. Make sure you get adequete sleep every day. Addiction - Like all good, positive feelings meth will draw you back to it. Depending on how heavily you were using it, returning to a sober life can seem almost frustratingly mundane.
In conclusion Meth is a lot of fun. Probably my favorite upper. It's greatest virtue is that it's functional, but that's also its greatest vice. When it comes down to the experience meth doesn't hold a candle to psychedelics and dissociatives and overall is not my drug of choice.
I think meth has a particularly bad rap because of the immense availability and abuse in low income areas - where people are prone to irresponsible drug abuse. Most of the negative side effects commonly associated with meth use are actually just malnutrition from not eating coupled with sleep deprivation.

It just triggers my paranoia and delusions now though, my head gets all fucked up with thoughts and schizophrenic conversations, and I get all fiendish and fucked up on it. My face turns all fucked. It's pretty far gone of a drug for myself now.
But good clean pure meth is great, atleast to start

MethAmphetamine.
Lived in a house for two years before the home owner pulls me into his room one evening, sat me down and pulled out his oil burner. Looks at me, saying, 'this is what I like to do.' He knows my pleasures of mushrooms, 5-MeO-DiPT, DOB, Ketamine, and Salvia. He asks, 'like to try?' Having been under his roof and guidance, felt as saying no would be a misunderstanding to something he has been able to keep in control, out of suspicion for the years been living there. The first toke, I said, 'taste like Taco Bell.' Which quickly understood that taste was the remnants of dinner. We; P, S (P's girl) and I, passed the puddled pipe around n' 'round, 'round 'til the puddle was no more. Feeling comfortable, not noticeably different, the Bands Last Waltz was put to play 'til the blue sky morning come. Thinking I should get some sleep, I excused myself to bed. 'Yeah, right', had to be the others thought. Laying in bed was when got to understand the stimulant effects more so. The eyes felt as hands were pulling lids to keep opened staring at the ceiling. Could feel an oily sweat seep from skin. 'Got to do something.' Decided to chug fill belly with water and go jogging, hoping to lesson stimulants hold. Got across town to a outdoor mall/shopping center where found a 'now hiring' sign inviting inquiry. Got the manager out of the store, sitting on a bench talking about employment and the job. She told me to come back for work. Thanks Lady, and back to jogging. Got home, sweating a steady stream still rolling on brought the thought to drink more water and lay out on the grass to sweat more and catch some sun. After that, more elders moved to the house, all addicts using much. Was entertaining watching how such people operate under the influence of heavy use. Much nights spent playing pool and listening to Rock'n'Roll in the basement of that house. Stayed away from using Meth at that point. Friends were trying to speak of the great high that Meth is, but couldn't agree having good supply of Foxy Methoxy. Maybe used a dozen times under that roof the next seven months living there. Eventually, a cook moved in, along with a recently insured '35 Ford custom hot rod. The car had to stay garaged for the purpose of fraud. The cook was the man to the addicts. With where things were going, I made plans to move on for the better. Love all those good friends for who they are.
Never dug Meth much. Some friends would dig and share with, but not desired. Besides, the extended length of Ketamine binge knowing that friends Meth would get me off the floor, never felt the need to use. After some lines, I can and have fallen asleep with pleasure.
Everything does have positives and negatives.

i have done meth for about a year and occasionally once a year since...
i can honestly say it has helped me a lot. i was able to graduate HS on time after dropping out of school because it helped me catch up on school work.
it has taught me a lot about trust, because the people i found it through or smoked with weren't all bad. although most were not trustworthy to say the least, but those traits that might be extreme among tweekers are still in many many sober people or people who have never touched a stimulant.
that being said i would not recommend doing it though, because most people don't have my kind of story after using meth habitually... but the drug itself i respect, the common culture of tweeking is a completely different story.

I agree, and like spore baby was saying, the days of decent smurf dope cooked from fairly clean precursors are gone. And most simply don't have the know how or care to clean up what they have. Really bad idea IMO

Yes - perhaps every half year or so if that. Last time was about 4 months ago in the summer, before that a few years. No problems or consequences, just prefer other drugs more.

that's pretty much how i feel about it. plus its not really like i enjoy the experience, as much as i might enjoy the people i'm doing it with (if this is not the case then hell no). also i have used it to get work done, but my preferred drug for that is something like adderal/fa because it has shorter duration and less expensive to get and more pure.

how do you define a physically damaging drug? yes perhaps if the person is binging out on it a lot, its going to take a toll on you. but what stimulating drug wouldn't, most of the damage comes from lack of sleep(abuse/binge), bad hygiene (personal choice not related to the drug), malnourishment (personal choice/unrelated to meth)?
if you get into dealing meth... you will find that many many normal people you would never expect are doing it for far different reasons than the obvious tweeker.

I did it a few times. The only ROA Ill consider using it is oral. Any other ROA is a waste or a one way street to hell in a hand basket. It's highly addictive. The other downfall is that most of it is trash and/or bathtub meth, from my research I've found that most of the negatives effects are coming from poorly made meth resulting in a lot of nasty impurities. I wouldn't consider doing meth again unless I could find it in pure form from a doctor or risk getting shot in the head by some sort of cartel. It's an amazing drug if you can control yourself though. Eat right, take vitamins, sleep right and don't double dose, always make sure your tolerance is low and I could see this drug being EXTREMELY useful. However I stick to plain ole amphetamine which is less addictive, easier to find in form (no nasty impurities) it's actually a really safe drug if you can regulate yourself but most folks can't it seems. That said, I love that shit but its not worth it thanks to the impurities and the folks surrounding it.
