Cakes - fluffy and turning greenish is this normal? Pics included

Hey,
Some background information : Cakes have been sitting in the SGFC 8 days now, I've tried various things to get the humidity right, however my reader still normally display about 80%, just under 3.5 inches of perlite . Cakes were dunked 24 hours and I have been misting and fanning more regularly for the last few days, previously just twice.
My question is those this look normal - they are turning a bit greenish in some parts (please see pic 2) ? Are these symptoms they are about to start pinning and should I be worried that it's been 8 days and no pins yet?

Kinda hard to tell from the pics is the green in the cake or ON the cake? Does the green look kinda like dusty and sporey? Could just be bruising.. ive had cakes bruise greenish blue. If it apears to be growing on the cake then its most likely mold.. post better pics and keep an eye on it.. if its mold toss it bc you dont wanna contam yoyr fc and work area..

It does look more of a bruising to me, but it is a bit of colour and its bruised in areas I know I haven't touched the cake, I do occasional touch the middle one to see if its dry or not.
It also does not appear to be growing on the mycelium, but rather its a discoloration of the myc. Yesterday it did look like it could of been forming underneath the myc so I thought this could of been a precursor for pins, as its my first grow I dont know how pins get formed, if its from this discoloration, the fluffy parts so I was hoping I would finally see pins, I doubt its a contam personally cos they were bright white when I birthed them with a week to take hold after 100% and I've heard that its fairly impossible to get a contam at this stage.
Thanks for the replies so far

That looks nasty. All that super white mycelium that is growing over the verm looks like trich mycelium to me. Probably gonna all go green real soon.

Interesting it is growing over the verm but I didnt get too much verm on the cake after dunking it (not fine enough) , so if it does go completely green, what do I do then? Any ideas on what I did wrong?

I'd pitch that shit. That green is the mold spores being jizzed all over the place. They are not going to recover. A better pic of the green to confirm for sure might be good, but it don't look right.
As for what you did wrong, assuming you sterilized properly and your dry verm layer was proper, you either fucked up during inoculation or the syringe was dirty. Because all the cakes were affected I want to say either dirty syringe or poor sterilization.

I was pretty good with sterilization, but I did tip over the box I had my jars colonizing in most likely disturbing the top verm layer.
As for inoculation that may have been a factor since I didn't have a glove box, I inoculated inside a box which was wiped, then sprayed with lysol, the desk was wiped down before hand as well and still air room sprayed as well, the need heated till glowing red and wiped down with lysol as well.
Everything else was sterile (PC), syringes sterile, used saline for making the syringe as well.
Strange thing was they were bright white when they were birthed.

Never wipe the needle after flaming. The flame sterilized it, and you just made it dirty right after. Lysol, alcohol, bleach, etc only sanitize, they do not sterilize.

Trich mycelium is bright white. It will not turn green until it starts to sporulate.

That's pretty saddening so is there a way of curing it? I've read some ppl suggest spraying water with peroxide?

Okay well those don't look that bad, might not be trich. Give em time, you will know real soon if it is, the mean green can take over a cake in a day.
If its not trich then its probably bruising, which leads us to look at your conditions. A pic of the setup would be good at that point.

Peroxide is only good for cobweb mold, nothing else.

Ok, so now its been about 14 hours since and I dont see much change in the discolouration of the cakes, I assume it should have been fairly over run if it was in fact trich or green mold, I will post pics of my setup when I get back home from work and pics of cakes for changes.
Here are some updated pics

Despite how crappy the photos are I'm inclined to agree. It just looked so green and dusty in the first one. Is the room they are in green by any chance? If that's the case then the discoloration is most likely bruising which indicates an insufficient environment. Most likely too dry. How's the setup? Do you have holes on all six sides of the chamber? No fans or heaters in the area?. A pic of the set up would be good.

Bruising.
If they don't pin in a few days, give another wash under the faucet and a short dunk. RR

The room IS green, yes I have holes on all 6 sides, holes are 0.23 inches (not exactly to spec) approx 2 inchecs apart with 3.34 inches of perlite.
I have an outdated pic of the setup - please note that the perlite was lower when the pic was taken (this was about 2.something inches on the higher side)
Also it is slightly more elevated than the pic below.

Thanks for the suggestion, its been almost 9 days now and no pins I'm obviously doing something wrong, last time I dunked for 24 hours, how long would you suggest for a short dunk?

Ok, awesome news - my cakes have started pinning.
The bruising pretty much looks the same, so guess it was not contaminated.
As promised here are updated pics of my setup including the progress of the cakes.
Thanks for all your help replies and please any further suggestions what to do about the bruising would be appreciated, I guess this will impact possible yields or potency.
