Banning music is dumb.
Christian music is so bad it's funny though.
Christian dubstep;
Christian rap....the opening to this is funny as fuck. The song itself you should skip, cause....yeah.

Christian Rock is lame, but at least its music. Most of the EDM is much worse. They should ban house music and trance first.

Okay, to all of you answering the question of banning it as if it is a real question worthy of serious consideration...I realize banning it would be completely impractical, if at all possible.
Thanks for asserting your libertarianism though. It's quite impressive.

I wouldn't ban it entirely, but I do think it should not be played out loud.
Listening to christian music in public should be punishable to same extent as masturbating in public.

Nah, ban pop. Christian music does suck in any genre though but that's my opinion. WELL except bluegrass, it shines there. Other than that it sucks.

I don't support banning music as others have said. As far as I know the genre may well consist largely of terrible music, but nobody forces me to listen to it. Maybe there is some good stuff but I'm certainly not seeking it out. Peter Tosh has some badass song lyrics taken from Bible verses so it definitely can be done well. It may just be that the audience for christian rock has grown accustomed to expecting it to be shittier than the non-christian equivalent, so shitty musicians are able to peddle their shit to an audience with low expectations.

i wouldn't support banning any form of music, but it seems to me that in attaching christianity to contemporary forms of music something gets lost in translation. i wouldn't go as far to say christian-(insert genre) is bad because it's christian. there are some absolutely beautiful pieces of medieval christian music. hildegard von bingen comes to mind. but bingen's pieces are explicitly intended to be sacred. christian-(insert genre) is mixing the sacred with the profane. and when the sacred is mixed with the profane e.g. "christian rock" the result is often a cheap, grotesque caricature of both ingredients. it's putting "the message" where it typically doesn't belong. so for me, when i hear christian-(insert genre) it generally comes across as intellectually dishonest and creatively diluted. do i care if people listen to it? no. but i certainly have no small tinge of schadenfreude towards its consumers.
