I have often felt frustrated when reading Ken Wilber's work, or Alan Watts, or C.G. Jung. So, while I appreciate that I am communicating with you (which is, after all why I write at all), it is after all, completely relative. The percentage of Americans holding a PhD degree is .96%, but again, I didn't earn one at an Ivy League school. Neither do I have the entrepreneurial personality to have done in life what I might have. I wrote a book, but it still sits in this computer and has yet to be formatted for Amazon.com. You'd probably enjoy it too, if I can get it together to publish it. So "dumb" is relative too, and I feel kind of stunned with my inability to extend my reading audience. I don't expect to make much money with this book, and fame is ridiculous. Sharing experiences and having them appreciated by others with similar experiences is probably my main motive. Maybe I'll be discovered after my death as some unsung philosophical hero in a late 20th century website dedicated to entheogens.
Shut up and take the compliment Markos! You know I'm kidding
I would love the opportunity to read your book

I'd read your book but not if it's about Christ. I've had it with Jesus. Oversaturation of the market already.

No, it's not about Jesus. Why is it that people always think I'm gonna go on about Jesus? Years ago when I was best man at my brother's wedding, out of the blue he whispers something like "You're not gonna talk about Jesus are you?" That was a good half dozen years after my stint in seminary. Life had gone on. The book is about psychedelic sainthood, and a new, non-denominational, not-specifically-Christian redefinition about what happens (theoretically as well as personally) when one's Center of identity gets shifted to a more Compassionate, less egoic center, following psychedelic experiences. I began with Bucke's Cosmic Consciousness and James' The Varieties of Religious Experience to give a foundation, then utilized some of Ken Wilber's system (with minor modification), and the whole thing is interspersed with personal experiences and spiritual experiments.

There are enough fucking people on earth; absolutely no reason to bring dead people back to life.
