Agar. What does it look like?

Meanwhile I am failing at PF tek, I am trying (because why the hell not) agar as well
These are some (pseudo-macro) pictures taken with the ipod water droplet trick thing directly from the plates. Does it look like contam? Should I transfer? Is this fail too?
This is from a spore syringe:
Macro (pseudo) pics:
The plate.

This one is from a transfer I made just to see if it was mold or good ol' myc. Some macro pics:

The plate:

What do you think?
Also, yes, pics suck ass but they are definitely better than just trying to zoom in with the crappy iphone (I don't have a better camera but I am trying to get one so bear with me for a while).

Either the pics suck or your plates are contammed to hell with bacteria or both, but here's the good news: you've got the right stuff. That's not mold. In the future you should wait a little longer for your agar to cool down before pouring into your plates, since condensation looks like it spread your spores all over the place and made a mess of your plate. Alternately you could look into Pasty's no-pour tek, of which I'm a pretty huge fan.
I really gotta say, I admire the spirit of anyone who wants to take on agar while they've got PF cakes going. Props to you.

Well, as I said, yes, pics suck royal ass. Also the first plate is from a drop of a syringe so it might be contam'd as crap too. At least the second one I can use and transfer.

Sorry, dude, I didn't want to come off as harshly as I think I did. What I'm trying to say is that I can't speak to whether it's got bacterial contamination due to the quality of the pictures, but I'm 100% sure that white stuff is cubensis mycelium. If you suspected contamination, then putting your transfer at the very edge of the plate was an excellent idea, since your mycelium should be able to outrun any bacteria.

Hahaha, my god, I wasn't complaining or anything. Just stating that I plainly agree with you. I mean, just look at that plate (the pics aren't any good either, honestly). I accept all criticizm I can get so no worries. Also, thank you very much for the confirmation. I hope I can make something good from that myc. =)
