Do you get constipation if you take kratom everyday? This is the one thing about the drug that's stopping me from using daily.

I just whipped it in some liquid and gulped it down if I remember correctly. When I was a kid of 20 I was once given 33 freshly dried peyote buttons. Myself and two friends took them out on the Sand Dunes along Lake Michigan and we ate them all with night just coming on. It was one of the outstanding trips of my life. The San Pedro slightly reminded me of that.
I'm envious, I've never encountered peyote, and at this point am starting to suspect I never will. To me, it's something of legend, but I'm seriously pondering ordering some peruvian torch powder in bulk and experimenting. I don't see myself washing it down the hatch though (keeping down 50g of cactus sounds kind of crazy and I'm sure it would be a karate chop to my gut) , we'll have to see what I come up with.

No not at all. This one reason I don't take regular opiates. I can't stand the constipation. I seem to get none with Kratom and I've used it daily for a couple of months now.

I assume you mean dried powder? How'd you prep that? I have extensive experience with LSD, DMT, & Psilocybin, but only one mild experience with mescaline (comparable to a hit of acid) with a 12" cutting I made into tea.....

I don't think I've ever tasted anything as horrid as san pedro powder in water.

I was at a festival where I had the opportunity to try some, but passed it up in favor of acid. A buddy of mine opted for the powder and mixed it in with grapefruit juice and was a real wimp about it

The San Pedro that I used came from Peru and it seriously kicked ass.
That time I took those 11 peyote buttons. I never puked once. The other guys were puking all over the place. I did feel some nausea for about 45 minutes.
That peoyote trip was my quintessential psychedelic experience. I'll never even try to give a trip report on it even though after all these years I still remember much of it vividly. Trying to convey it would not work. I will say that I certainly did hallucinate strongly and longly. The trip lasted about 12 hours and I hated it's ending. I never came across that quality and quantity of peyote again. It was a once in a lifetime experience for me. I do think that the San Pedro, if good quality surely comes into the ballpark.
I might be able to still locate where I got it if you want to PM me. It does have to make it through customs but I had no problem.

Some drugs just have no soul. Take 2C-I...it is more psychedelic than MDMA, probably just as euphoric, but it completely lacks the magic of MDMA. This was an off-topic statement, it may not be true, and I don't care to defend it. Goodnight

Oh, then your post lacks the 'soul' of PS&P

this is the first semi euphoric post i've seen from you icelander it's good to see...i don't wanna sound preachy but do be careful with kratom it is just as addictive as any other opiate if used in sufficient quantity and duration. But when the alternative is daily semi suicidal existential despair it is a beautiful alternative
I agree that drugs are great though i had a massive opiate addiction for years and broke it with ibogaine...
i hope the kratom is helping with your fear of death i know it helped me..but again if you ever plan on being able to stop be ready to face it head on more excrutiatingly than ever and the longer you take it the harder it will be...
If i was to advise a friend who was using kratom i would say use it to enable you to build up your life to its optimum level then stop...get in peak physical condition start eating well, repair and create relationships and secure your future then fight the battle because one day it Will lose it's magic and will no longer provide what's missing in your life.

I hope to be dead by then.
Anyway Kratom really doesn't provide what's missing in life. It just takes some of the angst out of it. Still I know what you're saying and I know I should be more concerned than I am but I'm not. At my advanced age there is not that much future to look forward to. What, like steady physical decline and more pain? The ability to do less and less physically stimulating? Mental decline? Routines repeated for the millionth time but more difficult to engage in? Watching the decline of the physical world into a trash heap which you have loved and once roamed in? Watching all your friends age sicken die and disappear if you have any that is? And all those other great things we should cling to with both hands?
Death seems pretty sweet when compared to all that. Not to say I enjoy nothing anymore but I hate to keep lowering my standards.
Some people my think this is a pretty negative way to think but I'd like to hear their reasoning as to why.
