In praise of drugs.

I think without Kratom every day I wouldn't want to be here. For better or worse the things I've learned and know and the things I feel make this world a very place for me. Kratom makes it feel so much more friendly. So for all the damage drugs may do they can also be a savior. I try to bring a little balance to my drug use so they don't bite me in the ass too hard but I wouldn't want to look out on the new day without them right now. Not to mention all the physical pain they relieve for me.
I FUCKING LOVE DRUGS. Especially the so called natural ones. They seem to be the most friendly on the body over time and the most balanced in their nature.

I feel the same way about opiates. If I had stuck to more natural routes of administration and possibly more natural forms of the stuff (poppy pods were delicious back in the day....), I feel like I never would have run into any major problems with addiction.
But yes, drugs are awesome. Doing drugs with a special someone whom you connect with on a deep physical & emotional level is even more awesomer, though, IMO.

Thankfully already got a special someone, and it's been almost suspiciously fantabulous for going on almost a year now.
Some part of me probably knows it's all going to come crashing down in an epic shitmaelstrom of chaos, despair, and utter ruin & heartbreak, but I'm just gonna enjoy it while it lasts.

Nooo. Don't think that. Don't think that at all.
You've found someone incredibly special and right for you and you can cherish them for years more to come. (:
I've just recently met someone who I feel could be that person for me but she's getting on a plane in less than 10 hours and THAT is fucking heartbreaking. I'm contemplating moving across the country just so I don't lose her. But maybe that's best left for another thread of my own.

My advice to you, is to start drinking heavily.
Get a jump on it.

MORE ON TOPIC
Icelander, speaking of drugs, out of curiosity, I've often wondered if you partake or have some history of psychedelics.
And have you ever been interviewed by Learyfan? If so, I'd love to read it

Very occasionally, It's been a almost three years actually. I took about 50 grams of san pedro pwd and was tripping hard for 15 hours. I said that's a good one to end 40+ years of tripping on. I still do XTC occasionally but even that has been years.
I like Kratom a lot and that seems to satisfy all my needs these days.

Forty plus years of tripping. My first trip was in 1970 on some Purple Haze. That trip is still one of the five best of my life. Three on LSD, one on Peyote (maybe the best) and one on XTC which may not count as a psychedelic. In between were many hundreds of trips that I've mostly forgotten. My weirdest trips for sure though have been on Salvia.

Rarely but yes I have. I rarely like reading anyones and also don't really like writing them. It kind of kills the buzz for me. I don't like sharing dreams usually either for the same reasons.

I can understand that. I haven't written many myself and the ones that I have, I never kept for very long.
This is a shot in the dark, but would you feel comfortable sharing one of your experiences with us?

Sorry to hear it, man. I appreciate the good words though and wish you the best of luck in your own endeavours of the heart.

Already am, from time to time. My advice to you: invest the time and energy you put into copy-pasting Youtube videos here into more constructive pursuits. I highly doubt the majority of readers here watch any of them.

I assume you mean dried powder? How'd you prep that? I have extensive experience with LSD, DMT, & Psilocybin, but only one mild experience with mescaline (comparable to a hit of acid) with a 12" cutting I made into tea.....
-------------------- Everything is better than it was the last time. I'm good. If we could look into each others hearts, and understand the unique challenges each of us faces, I think we would treat each other much more gently, with more love, patience, tolerance, and care. It takes a lot of courage to go out there and radiate your essence. I know you scared, you should ask us if we scared too. If you was there, and we just knew you cared too.

I just whipped it in some liquid and gulped it down if I remember correctly. When I was a kid of 20 I was once given 33 freshly dried peyote buttons. Myself and two friends took them out on the Sand Dunes along Lake Michigan and we ate them all with night just coming on. It was one of the outstanding trips of my life. The San Pedro slightly reminded me of that.
