Nothings going to happen to him. A bunch of people who can't get/sell drugs in real world aren't going to go to eastern Europe and kill someone. Its easy to rip off online drug buyers and none of them ever do anything about it. Wasn't the fact it was called sheep marketplace a red flag?

You're forgetting about the dealers? 40 million is a lot of money, he's bound to have screwed the wrong person somewhere and considering the prize for finding him The cocaine being sold online wasn't manufactured online.
I'd think hes in the clear as long as no one finds him, just a matter of how well he can hide

Maybe, not a lot of people know how to disappear and money doesn't change that.

True.... If it was me, I'd be GONE.
I think it was more organized than just some guy that got greedy. It was probably a small group of people. In which case, the getaway was planned well ahead of the execution. But anything is possible. I never ordered from there but I did check it out a week or two ago and there was a few suspicious sellers. Too good to be true = It isn't true(most of the time)

How are you going to be able to liquidate 40 million dollars in BTCs without anyone noticing? He pissed off thousands of people, many of which are a lot smarter than he is. If it was an organization, it might end different. I kind of wonder if it was a government that pulled the scam.

Im pretty amazed at the total revenue
$40m is insane for a small online business... and SR was much larger iirc
the future of drug/anonymous trade is the dark(hidden) internet
I just dont understand why noone sets up their own .onion urls as dealers sell your stuff there, on your own .onion
but you would have to advertise by spamming or such for that to work never should you give out your url in person to another person
a non-.onion url will work just fine too if you get it hosted in a country without laws then you can sell anything without getting caught, as long as you keep it small
I often see many small scale MJ sites online, selling home-grown bud not cheap, but they earn good money on it it seems
often they sell the amounts they can afford to sell, since they know the laws well :-) the site gets busted again and again, then it gets up in a week again
