Packaging and shipping oyster mushrooms

I have someone roughly 150 miles away that will basically buy whatever oyster mushrooms that I send to him. I will growing blues and kings, but I am not sure what the best way to ship is. I will be overnighting them, but I may put in some no sweat ice packs to keep them fresh. I know oysters are delicate so I was hoping I could get some advice. Any ideas on how to ship or package them. I will be shipping off around 20 to 35 pounds a week.
Tha is a lot.

When I was a receiver we used to get fish overnighted in, packed nicely in styrofoam containers with ice blocks inside. Something similar to this, they even come with the gel ice packs. Don't know if it would be cost-effective or not. I hope you're growing your blues pretty cool!
At only 150 miles, depending on your car, it might actually be more cost effective to drive it.

I've looked at some styrofoam containers earlier but I couldn't really find any that weren't expensive. That is why I was thinking about no sweat ice packs because I think you can use them with cardboard boxes.
Thanks.

Go to home depot, get styrofoam insulation panels, cut them into panels that line a box, and ship it, you can probably get 2 good size boxes out of one sheet. Each sheet is like 4 bucks, or you can get thicker sheets for more expensive.
I ship live fish and shrimp all over the country, and this is the preferred method.

Good luck trying to ship oysters. They break easily. What you'll end up with is a broken mess at the other end unless you package each fruit into individual sections in a box so they won't get crushed.
Then, the problem is shipping costs more than the mushrooms are worth. RR
