how long for jars to reach room temperature(inside PC) after pcing?

Hi guys, I successfully inoculated 9 rye jars last week, mycelium is colonizing aggressively and so far so good. Now I want to prep 14 more jars, but since my PC only can do 10 jars at a time, I'm gonna need to do to 2 runs.My question is how many hours since the moment you turn off the stove after cooking for 90 mins at 15 psi until jars reach room temperature(75F) WHILE INSIDE THE PC My plan is let the first batch cool down until has reached room temperature, then take the jars out the PC and cook the 2nd batch. I know we are talking about hours, but not sure how many.

quite some time, I usually leave them overnight and in the morning they are cool. I have checked after 4 hours and they were still too hot to put spawn into. I would give it at least 5 hours if you are really set on waiting for them to cool down to room temp for whatever reason. Its not really important for them to stay in the PC for all that time though.

according to what I read isn't the best to let them cool completely before taking them out, taking them out while still hot could cause water content/condensation/damage to the filter issues?
I'm confused how much to wait when you need to do more than one batch consecutively

When I need to do more than 1 batch at a time I sometimes take the jars straight out of the PC and put them on a folded towel and put the other batch right in. I have not had any problems at all with spawn as far as moisture content goes. If you are really worried about the grains losing some moisture then do one or both of the following: Cover the lids with some foil really tight to stop any evaporation from escaping and/or use Franks Dunk Tek before spawning to bulk http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/17616982#17616982 Also when you say damage to the filter I'm guessing that you have some special lids that you hooked up, I'm not a physics major but I could see that being a problem if you were to rapidly depressurize the PC but once the pressure stabilizes on its own then you shouldn't be damaging the filter at all unless you are worried about some steam from the rapid cooling. I dont see how that would damage the filter since you were using a steam sterilization process to begin with but I cant say for sure. If your worries are related to steam for whatever reason then just give it a few hours to cool down from a really high temperature but I dont see the necessity of waiting 8 hours.

ALWAYS LET THE PRESSURE IN THE PC DROP NATURALLY.

***SAFETY FIRST*** Let the PC cool and depressurize on its own. Don't do anything to speed up this process. Getting impatient can cause burns and shattered glass.
Generally, I let it sit over night. However, sometimes I have more jars waiting. Under no circumstances do you open the lid or remove the weight while still under pressure.
If I need the PC, I turn the stove off and wait for the safety valve to drop. It will still be hot enough to cause burns, but the pressure is gone. I've watched my mamaw can enough to know it's OK to take out hot jars and set them on something dry. Dry is important. If you set the hot jars on something cold and wet it will likely crack the jar. I've seen shards fly.
I use a jar grabber to remove hot jars. But again, I usually leave them over night or till cool to the touch.
And sit them on the dry counter or dry towel.
If you notice the grains are a little compacted and they seem wetter at the bottom, this is normal. Just shake them up to redistribute the moisture. The moisture will even out.

thanks guys, I think I will let the first batch cool overnight in the PC and then do the 2nd batch next day. Is it ok to leave the 2nd batch of grain jars already prepped for 24 hours at room temperature, or maybe in the fridge?
I'm thinking prep all the 14 jars on day 1, cook 10 on day 1 and cook the other 4 on day 2? Any input?
