I've always loved this piece of music.

Actually I have them on a mixed CD. So who are they actually so I can buy more?
I don't know anyone like them but someone I'm really digging on lately is Wax Taylor

Oh man Wax is so very good. If you like that you might enjoy Bonobo or Blockhead. That band is called Akasha. I'm not sure how much they've done or how long they've been around, I've only really been listening to one album, all very spaced out and groovy.

I'm a fan of Bonobo and I'll check out Blockhead. Thanks for the tips bro. I love music. My collection is many hundreds of cds deep. I have fifty Frank Zappa cds alone.

Hey do you have the name of the CD? I'm having trouble locating it on Amazon and a lot of crap bands seem to have the name Akasha

Yeah, right? The name threw me off, I thought it was going to be some lame new band. The album I have is Cinematique.
I don't even have the words to get started on music. Its very central in my life to say the least. As for Blockhead, some is much hip-hopier than others, dunno if that's your thing. Most is pretty solid though.
Cinematic Orchestra has some pretty phenomenal moments, and are often best enjoyed in my sleepy times.

Nice, reminds me a lot of The Orb / Dr. Alex Paterson....

Here's some classic The Orb (off of Auntie Aubrey's Excursions Above And Beyond The Call of Duty)

Early man walked away As modernman took control There mind's weren't all the same And to conquer was their goal So he built his great empire And he slaughtered his own kind He died a confused man And killed himself in his own mind.
We're only gonna die for our own arrogance, that's why we might as well take our time.
And killed himself in his own mind,

that's a bad religion cover,
here's some punk back at ya
"Moral Majority"
You call yourself the Moral Majority We call ourselves the people in the real world Trying to rub us out, but we're going to survive God must be dead if you're alive
You say, 'God loves you. Come and buy the Good News' Then you buy the president and swimming pools If Jesus don't save 'til we're lining your pockets God must be dead if you're alive
Circus-tent con-men and Southern belle bunnies Milk your emotions then they steal your money It's the new dark ages with the fascists toting bibles Cheap nostalgia for the Salem Witch Trials
Stodgy ayatollahs in their dobble-knit ties Burn lots of books so they can feed you their lies Masturbating with a flag and a bible God must be dead if you're alive
Blow it out your ass, Jerry Falwell Blow it out your ass, Jesse Helms Blow it out your ass, Ronald Reagan What's wrong with a mind of my own?
You don't want abortions, you want battered children You want to ban the pill as if that solves the problem Now you wanna force us to pray in school God must be dead if you're such a fool
You're planning for a war with or without Iran Building a police state with the Ku Klux Klan Pissed at your neighbour? Don't bother to nag Pick up the phone and turn in a fag
Blow it out your ass, Terry Dolan Blow it out your ass, Phyllis Schlafly Ram it up your cunt, Anita Cos God must be dead If you're alive God must be dead If you're alive

My favorite song with Zack de la Rocha is a Blackalicious song, has a Saul Williams poem in the middle, is brilliant.

Nice teknix, rage and SOAD are among my favorite all-time bands.
"Life is a waterfall, we're one in the river, and one again after the fall.
Swimming through the void we hear the word, we lose ourselves, but we find it all...
Cause we are the ones that want to play, always want to go, but you never want to stay.
And we are the ones that want to choose, always want to play, but you never want to lose. "
