No conservative governor can sabotage the federal health care site. I live in NY that has a state site. It is a fucking clusterfuck. You have to give them all your information just to see what is offered and you get timed out constantly. Do you know what has changed? My health insurance company never asked me if I smoked before. Now that is the only question. Not if I'm a fat fuck, not if I'm a junkie, not if I ride motorcycles or sky dive. No, just smoking.Quote:
Everybody bitches about the law, until you get sick. Then the fact that you have (cancer, diabetes, heart disease... etc) is unable to bar you from getting care by denying you coverage or charging extreme prices. IF your prices are really high its probably because you are (1) old as dirt or (2) live in a state where you have an obstructionist government that wants to see this law fail and does not care about its people. If you got dropped from your coverage, thats because your insurance sucks dick and would have gone bankrupt anyway if you had a serious problem.
My insurance was excellent and expensive. Now it is gone. Quote:
So, go ahead talk shit about the law. Just know that young people like me will end up buying into the system to help you older guys out. That way your costs go down in the long run. Also, if you get sick and have to go to the ER, the hospital or local business does not get stuck with the bill because you don't have coverage (This is an external cost (externality) that ends up harming all of us, and costs all of us money because you don't have a way to pay). So for those conservatives that are so angry about "OUR" money being used for "POOR PEOPLE" just realize that the person you hate may be you for not getting insurance and going to the ER then passing the bill to all of us.
Not for nothing sweetheart but you're on Mommy's plan so you don't pay anything. I don't want you to pay anything for me. But I don't want to pay for maternity insurance either. Or any other idiot crap that is useless to me or my family.

Sorry that my parents have insurance and I use it, just using what I got. My coverage ends soon so I will be in the same boat as you are. Also you know you can call or go to the places that offer sign ups. Website is not the whole law.
We WILL end up paying for all the people that go to the ER with no coverage. That is a just a simple fact, I am sorry if you don't like it. When someone goes to the ER and then does not pay we all bear the cost in increasing premiums because the bill has to go somewhere. This is called an externality. Here is a link so you understand the concept: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Externality
SO its really nice that you say I won't have to pay but in the end we all pay for the emergencies of those who don't have coverage.
You're argument on maternity coverage is fair. See you can have an educated argument without resorting to name calling.
But, one counter-argument to that is we all have a vested interest in the health of babies and mothers because of the cost in not covering them will in the end come back to bite us as an externalized cost. Kids that are not taken care of by their mothers will be surrendered to the state because of neglect and the state will bear the cost. Also injured children are not able to become productive members of society and thus, we incur the cost of loss (in long term health problems and/or loss of revenue from working and paying taxes). The second counter-argument is that the plan was aimed at making plans non-discriminatory so that women and men pay the same price. They fixed this by making it a requirement for all pay. There were little programs offering this so the administration decided to make it a blanket requirement to enforce the policy. Again, you have a valid point and I disagree with this policy position.
Conservative governors definitely can obstruct the federal law. Just take a look at what Mississippi did! They also rejected the expansion of Medicare. Here is a link to back up my claim: http://www.bustle.com/articles/6227-gop-governors-reject-obamacares-medicaid-expansion-millions-to-stay-uninsured-as-result

Alright.
1. No we do not all pay for emergency room visits by retards. Only a small number of us pay for the bulk of that cost. 2. That can easily be ameliorated by having clinics. The health insurance as supplied by employers has created a mess. The government is adopting it. How clever to expand a failure into the general population. 3. They cannot obstruct the federal law. They can refuse to help it. That is not the same thing. 4. We do not all have a vested interest in babies. The best method to insure that babies are not a burden to the state would be forced sterilization of loser cunts who can't keep their fucking legs closed long enough to suffocate the flies hovering about their putrid twats. Are you sure you want to go there?

i just say instead of children being tax breaks they should be tax additives. Increase the tax rate for those who want to breed. That way only those who can actually afford to take care of a child can have them.

How about we just get the government out of the equation entirely, neither encourage nor discourage. Same goes for marriage.
