I use a lot of screw tops now because I couldn't find more mini rounds locally, they do seem to be available online however. For the screw tops avoid the ziploc ones imo, they don't stack super well for me

That’s what I got! You can just drill the hole in the side of them instead of the top and put the micropore layer on there.

Leave it for a week without foil just the paper towel. It will dry up. Or dump it in your SAB floor.

Now you have lots of cheap, easy to work with plates that don't need to be ordered and can be put together with stuff you can find around town. You can now safely inoculate any media like grains or LC without the issue of invisible contams. You can also store good cultures for a long time and grow them many times before senescence hits. You can also ward this off by changing your media, this tek ends up making PDA (potato dextrose agar) but it will work just as well with MEA (malt extract agar), PDYA (potato dextrose yeast agar), Dog food agar, grain soak water agar, etc. So don't be afraid to mix it up. Hopefully this lets people dip their toes in the agar pool, trust me its well worth it

Edit; as more people come on board with this, I hear feedback on ways to use it, substitutions, etc. Here are some relevant links to assist users. I will attempt to update periodically.
The Tiger Drop
Inoculation, transfers, grain inoculation in SAB
Tic Tac Toe (Tiger Drop 2.0)
Ok i feel kind of silly asking this but i want to make sure, also the answer may be here but there is so many pages ... lol I looked through a couple.
ANYWAYS.
So after the PC part, and they are cooled down etc. Put them into SAB, can i use a spore syringe to inoculate the jars? If so, how much CC would one use? Thanks!

Yes and I use as little as possible. Shake good before you do.

You can, but it's easiest to work with the opening closer to the agar

You can but the short ones are easier to work with. Just make sure you filter your lids
