Do you use the same amount of potato flour that you would the flakes?

I just replace the BRF recipe with potato flour.
So I do 500g/mL water, 10-12g agar depending how stiff I want, and about 6 grams of flour

It always dissolves perfectly and produces clear agar. With potato flakes, it was always cloudy for me.

Is there a way to stack glad mini rounds in the PC without it toppling over during the cycle?

In the pictures in the OP, it looks like he's got them stacked tight on the bottom layer - touching the sides, almost. I assume that makes it more stable. I'm going to try that next time. If that doesn't work, I have a metal rack that I'm going to put on top of the stacks. If you find something that works, let me know.

If you have extra room put a plate on top of them or something to push them down without blocking the vent.

I think OP has a smaller pressure cooker than what I have. There's always alot of space leftover on mine so any movement will cause the mini rounds to topple over. I think I'll get more trivets or steaming racks so I could put them on top of them

Are you talking about those remnants on the bottom? I don't think they are mold but are actually remnants from agar/lme that wasn't mixed. I have the same thing

Pour some in what? Those are prepped pasty plates, blue agar so it might look like theres nothing in them?

I dont think it's remnants but it would make my day if it was. Nothing i mixed up was green ): but upon further inspection, it could be just some leftovers. The pics i posted up a few posts ago are obviously fucked but these new ones do just look like some leftovers. shine a light through the top of ur agar dish and see if the remnants show up better? I can't see what you got there very well.
Here are 3 of my 10+ plates that look like this. Please let me know if its just remnants, i didnt think mold would germinate as quick as a day and a half or 2 out of PC..

lol the first one looked like it only got filled 1/3 way across.
That does look like mold but you’re right two days is pretty fast. I have had it happen a couple times but usually it’s bacteria that shows up super quick.

Here is one of my worst looking plate with lots of remnants. Made a huge mistake not boiling the mixture. You can always leave the plate alone for a week and see if it spreads
