I use poly lids and keep mine on the same shelf I put my colonizing plates on.
what's there to refrigerate before they're inoc'd, and why would an innoc'd plate do any better on a shelf than an un-inoc'd one?
I thought micropore had too large pores to be considered a true filter? Do you guys get into any problems if not using 2 layers of micropore?

I use a small ball of poly under 2 layers of micropore tape and it works really well. I have left forgotten plates sitting around for months without them contaminating.

Well some of my inoccd plates have some contam in them, so i kinda wanna keep them seperate. i know its kinda silly just peace of mind lol.
And idk cuz i bought plastic micropore tape which melted last time and i lost over 50 percent of my plates. I think the melt made a vaccum and fucked a few lids up too, they dont fit so well anymore.

I never had issues with single layer micropore but I have been using double more just for peace of mind. While I'm nit going to say it acts as a filter, the paper towel if left on will act as a barrier keeping the sporeload on the filter down. This us probably what let me get away with single layer.
There are plenty of fine alternatives to micro pore, pretty much any standard grain jar filter will work fine. Use whatever works.

I am from canada and i still think our idea of beer is puss. Ive lived in europe and i know that that dutch 13% beer and 20 cent tall boys automatically make north american drinkers soft.
If you look at statistics for global alcohol consumption also czech usually is at top anyways.
And ive stabbed myself severely with a needle drunk innoculating and i never again will i consider drinking to mix with mycology. You gotta make precise movements quickly and critically think so alcohol definitely doesnt help.
Plus if your an alcoholic you get the shakes when your not drunk which reallllly makes innoculating difficult

I usually do 2 drops of honey , or for a double recipe do 4 drops. It depends on the viscosity of your honey anyways...

I put two drops in also, they just came out(I got to work on being light with the touch, like trying to get one drop with a syringe, I always get two), and it has made no difference, these guys know more about the workings of the nutrients and if it is easier to contam. that way or what, but agar is simple zeph, ecspecially with this tek!
