take a picture and have it identified in the identification forum first so you don't grow something you can have a reaction to.

I'd have a reaction just from touching it? I've been picking random mushrooms and taking spore prints lately, just because it's neat.
I wasn't planning on eating anything, just wanted to inoculate agar.

So I must suck at pressure cooking or something... I have a 23 qt Presto and I ALWAYS get insane condensation on my pp5s. I tried not wrapping them in foil once and half of them got ruined to water rolling over the agar.
I know I'm supposed to "bring the pressure up/down slowly" but HOW exactly do I do this. My method is put the lid on the PC, turn the burner on high and wait for steam to start coming out. Then I wait a few more minutes, add the pressure rocker and turn the heat to just below medium (4/10). PC 35 minutes, then turn the heat to 2/10 for 10-15 more minutes. At 45 minutes I turn the burner completely off and leave the PC on the burner overnight.
Does anyone see any major flaws in my technique?
PS, I've read you can wash and re-use these pp5 containers. Can I still do this if they have major contam growing or should I just toss them?

I'm a super noob at PCing myself, but I wouldn't call immediately going to boiling as "bringing the pressure up slowly."

Put weight on, let pressure build a few psi, then turn halfway between high and med until it gets to 15 psi. It takes a little longer but I find it also seems to help with the container bottoms getting crushed in. However ts not as big a deal as the slow cool is I find those ones are worse for condensation. This also varies from stove to stove.
Another thing to try is to have a thinner plate. Thicker ones definitely can be an issue Some condensation is normal, and usually clears up. My environment is also dry as hell and fridges can also dry things out. Throw it in the fridge, still wrapped for 2-3 days.
Also do not toss these, if they have sporulated mold you can PC for 30 min and then empty them. I have some that I have probably used 25-30 times now.

Boiling is the starting poin of Pressure cooking, so bringing the pressure up slowly from that point is necessary for a slow rise in pressure. To high and everything boils over and its messy. Patience young jedi is a must....

pasty,
Should we still be letting the steam boil for 10m before putting the weight on like normal so it can vent for a bit?

Depends on the type of PC your using. My little POS PC is not designed to vent steam first but, for prestos, AA's etc, absolutely vent the steam.

I just rinse them then wash them out with a soapy sponge. My techniques are substantially more contam-proof than ones most growers on here are using, but even when that wasn't the case (and if it weren't now) I wouldn't be nearly so concerned with sterilizing contaminated containers. Ideally the sink you're cleaning your dishes in is in a different place than you're growing, too, so even if concerns were valid to a noteworthy degree I'd consider it moot.
Just clean them as you would any other

I ruined the type of containers you use in here Pasty, cause like a fool I, well we won't go there, but I did something I should not have, and they collapsed some. I just figure I could use the screw top containers for lunches and stuff, cause I have no hole in the lids, I guess it pretty much boils down to me thinking I will use them for something else, but never have, LOL!

I use mine for all kinds of things. The pint screw-top ziplocs are so handy and useful. One of my favorites to tote around in them is fruit smoothies!

I just noc'd up my agar. On my first one, the agar clogged my syringe and I pressed too hard to get it out. Must've squirted a CC in there, hehe. The next ones I re-sterilized to melt the agar and spray it out on the floor of my SAB before injecting. It made it possible to get a drop into the little holes I made.
1. Is it okay to wipe the off the condensation on the inside of the containers above the agar? I used a regular paper towel. Maybe I should've sterilized first?
2. Can I move these around throughout their growing period? I don't have an ideal place for them and might need to shift stuff around to get to other supplies.

You can move them around.
Honestly dude, the condensation is not going to increase your contamination rates unless you're leaving your mini rounds open open for unusually long periods of time for airborne contams to stick to the drops of water when they touch.
But if airborn contams are getting into the round it's not going to matter if they stick to the water inside or not, they're there either way.
Regular poured petri's have condensation too.

Oh, though condensation may not increase your contamination rates KEEPING THE ROUND OPEN LONG ENOUGH TO WIPE A CONTAM-COVERED PAPER TOWEL OVER THEM WILL!
