Hi again... Would it be a pain if you run this on 60mm diameter containers?

Whats a good petri dish size to use I'm seeing 35x15mm, 55x15mm, 90x15mm, 100x15mm. I have some 90x15mm and these seem easy to work with.

Man as I posted this I realised this is the completely wrong place from a question on actual agar plates. I will definitely be using this method just with different containers!

I've been having this weird problem with my last two batches where the agar in a few of the plates never fully solidifies. If I tilt the plate it slides around.
Anyone else have this problem?

Use more agar. With food grade agar the gel strength can vary some, so use more if you can't get it to gel good. I tried to hit the middle with the writeup but I also advise that some experimentation may be required.

I think you may have under did it on the agar agar or you didn't swirl the mix while you were pouring the containers. I give the mix as swirl or a stir before pouring each container.

Makes sense. It only affects like 1/10 plates, which is what I found weird about it. Would think the problem would be uniform..oh well. I'll bump up the agar.

If its just 1/10 plates then do what tomb suggested as well, stir it up each time before filling the round.
