Still use the same. Nearly every grow I have done started with them at one point or another.

Yes your altruism knows no bounds. I'm sure that the minute amounts of plastic that are leached in during the culture phase pose a dramatic risk over several P values of grain expansion and later during the spawn run. It's probably responsible for most of the cancer in North America. You should also start a class action lawsuit against unicorn for producing plastic mycobags that get PCd as well.

According to this thread the unicorn bags don't use BPA.
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/16582187
But if they did contain BPA and you became sterile and you showed causality, you could sue them.

And the misdirection and shifting of the topic to me is a fallacy, and not very good way to debate. It's even boarder line ad hominem, when I provide evidence of others research, so my integrity or techniques are not the question.

Good thing the mini rounds I use in my tek don't have BPA either

Perhaps you should quit trolling this thread and board before I tire of your antics. Go make your oven tek work and take a pic when it does.

This is open forums last I checked. You take a hike.

Yeah dude, it says on the site do not use them in the oven:
"We do not recommend the using Glad wraps, bags, or GladWare containers in the oven. Glad OvenWare is specifically designed for gas ovens, convection ovens and conventional ovens, though the lid is not designed for use with conventional ovens. We recommend that you place a cookie sheet underneath when cooking. Read more at https://www.glad.com/faq/#cYzkledu7L8AiKlT.99"
I'm sure that applies to pressure cookers as well, and I didn't see any no BPA link.

The 6th FAQ in the link I posted states no BPA. You don't put them in the oven because they will melt. The end.

mammals and fungi are vastly different... not to mention, people use plastic container to microwave food, that is an INSANELY EXPONENTIALLY larger problem then people eating some mushrooms that have been on something in a container that was once pressure cooked...

Eating some mushrooms from a colony that started in a container that was pressure cooked then the colony was expanded 1000 fold with no exposure lol. Like complaining about secondhand smoke from someone in Mexico while drinking in a bar in New York.

I eat plenty of foods that come in polypropylene containers. Coming in those containers because they're factory sterilized or pasteurized right in the container.
Besides that you're eating the agar puck out of a pastyplate? No. Putting them in an oven? No.
Go fearmonger somewhere else that isn't in a well respected members thread.
There's a case study. Called real life where millions of people not having a single fucking problem tied to them eating out of heat treated polypropylene containers every day. The most harmful thing about them is littering

or does it have to be the bar?
You can use powder, but that's a HORRIBLE price! Do you have an Asian food market anywhere near you?

I prefer powder to the bars but you can get 25g packs of powdered agar for 1-2 dollars
