I've pc'ed a mini round at least 8 different times and still works perfectly.
I just change the micropore tape every time.

Ah, yeah, I forget not everyone is interested in all the mushrooms before they start trying to grow these.

I cook, so I do like hearing and learning about foods, generally through inquisition and curiosity. A great thing about a new hobby is learning new things as you go and building your repatoir of knowledge. I have interest in everything
Yes I read that they are good cut in rings and battered with saltines or flour and then fried.. Mmm I've never seen them in any of the stores around here.

all the morels you'll ever find to buy are wild foraged. they don't farm them so they're only around for a small window of time when they're in season.
they're usually like 20-50 a pound. which is very expensive for mushrooms. you can sell the ones you find for 5-15 usually in places where they're more prolific those prices are lower.

I guess i'll keep my eye out for that guy. Locked away in my memory banks, also read a few points on how to tell a false from a true morel. I''m not sure they grow around here, but its possible.. we have a couple deciduous tree's that they are known to grow around.

Those guys in Michigan failed to bad contams and lost everything. I think it was a college that grew the morel greenhouses.
Morels sell for $25 a pound in the beginning of the season for blondes and usually end at about $15 a pound.
Had some buddies pull 50 lbs a day. My biggest haul ever was probably 20 pounds.

So what makes morels so difficult to cultivate?

Don't they have a relationship with the trees as well?
Some of the biggest morel I found were at a last year burn or forest fire.
Logging units where they bunch all the slash piles up is a great spot to find morels.
The months of march and April are when morels grow like crazy in Oregon.
