Condensation in agar media vessels can be a vector for contam to the mush culture running on the agar. Another major foul created by condensation generated inside of your agar media vessels is not being able to see culture performance through media vessel.
Yeah! and the mycelium may run up the walls to drink it

One problem I got the process down but had most rounds had a lot of condensation in them I only pc'd them for 15 min and brought them up slowly! Maybe I didnt wrap them good enough! I am going to get some tyvec and some 4oz ball jars and use them next time! But I believe I got the whole thing down< just a matter of tweaking the recipe!! And Agar is expensive here ! I had to go to a whole grocer and they were 9 $ US for oz I am going to order on line next time!
??? Will this moisture harbor bacteria?

Maybe, definitely, or not at all......
I recommend getting a free moth trial of amazon prime! Agar is inexpensive among other necessitys..
Then just cancel if you want... you get two day shipping and such.
DO IT

It can be hard to cancel amazon prime. A few months go by, or whatever their terms are, and you find yourself getting billed every month for it.
I fell into that trap. Don't sign up for it unless you intend to be eventually billed for it, because they did it to me despite me cancelling my subscription.

My girlfriend did that and didn't have any problems at all.
Since then we've considered actually paying for it because getting shit in 2 days is fucking sweeeet.

Off topic. But I did it with a resume service (which was a fantastic one, type your shit out and they plug it in). But they still billed me after I cancelled. For that one month. I tried the trial and then cancel cheapskate way.
Theres always the fine print..
Never had a problem canceling Prime tho. I did it once. Got a shipment quit as fuck, then stopped it that resume' shit got me tho. Those sites are sketchy anyways. Im just too lazy to do it.

How soon should I check my Agar rounds? I peaked in on some jars that were done the same day and there is a match tip of mycilum ! so I guess my ? is how long does it take to see growth! Hypothetically!

It is really fun and easy! My first time 2 days ago came out good! I have to do it a few more times inorder to get it right ! Mine came out o.k but had a lot of condensation so I have to figure out why and change how I wrapped them!
???? for Pastywhte? Could I use something better then paper towel to put on top of filter so it 'get to much condensation or is it the mix that caused it?

Mine always get a fair amount of condensation but it's not a big problem. I let my plates sit for a few days before I use them. Sometimes it will cause some pooling of water but I just pour that on the floor of my SAB at inoculation.

Wiping down a sterilised plate is a bad idea. Sterility is very important with agar work. You might get lucky though. From spores I generally expect growth in 4 to 7 days but it can take weeks.
