...for 50,000+ posters, what wisdom have you gained? 2

Seems anything done 50,000 plus times will become one wise. Sprinkle some of the wisdom which you have yourself gained from your time here at the Shroomery - marinate us who dwell far below the Olympus Peak of your loftiness, with some Ball Jar understandin. Lord on high make us Everclear-er.

I didn't want you to think I was thinking just of you so I said '50,000' instead of '84,678.' I though 50,000 posts means one or two others could play along.

50,000 post, time, that could have been spent in apart from the virtual word. Is it a good thing?
I think that depends on the user.
This response is just me acting as the Devil's advocate for the sake of discussion.

Thanks all ye Vets for coming out here to this thread today. I knew that in fact the very title of the thread would almost guarantee that the advanced posters would (as few as they are) turn out in force and rise up like a mighty overflowing river just due to the sheer posting delight and effervescence of meaning itself - so quickly lost if not made note of. Why a thread like this is like tripping over a crack in the sidewalk - almost demanded. But back to my question - how does one - good people - choose the proper emoticon, after all these years I (still) haven't found the smiley I'm looking for. Here, I'll try. Let me know if this is effective.

Does not fit your less than positive nature. Keep looking and you'll find it.

I've gained the awareness that, while Yoda is a fictional character, Gomp, on the other hand, is the real deal.

Then I gained the wisdom that I don't actually have 50,000 posts.

These aren't the smileys you're looking for.
