Hey now! I don't mind having my attitude corrected. It feels better than sticking to my cynical ways. I want to believe.
But I'm not taking the walk of shame (though that was funny). If you look at tyrone1995's other posts and lack of correspondence it's easy to see where I was coming from. I'm happy to be wrong about it.

I think it would be better if tyrone1995 were adequately discouraged by the daunting task of actually learning and give up the idea of picking free street drugs. Based on his navigation of the ID guide lines (which he clearly hasn't read), and his clear lack of patience I think it's entirely likely that if he ever does get a shroom ID'd here, he might start picking any vaguely similar mushroom he finds and end up poisoning someone. I really don't want to participate in that.
I think it's better to teach people as much as possible, rather than discourage them.
Some of our best users started with rather annoying posts.
i still feel annoying haha 7 years strong though i think a good majority of people who are introduced to mycology are first drawn in by getting high, it's like a gateway mushroom that introduces you to a whole other world.
I used to get really stressed out about not getting actives but now i much prefer the thought of the spores spreading and proliferating.
like last night, i was in ??? and i found nothing, still was very fun though and i found a new coffee strainer so i'm stoked
