METALVATOR MUSIC
    #19207236 - 11/30/13 02:45 AM (10 years, 2 months ago)

You ever think about the thrash metal and all kinds of bands like that will ever be played on elevators? Like they turn them into the kind of songs one hears in offices etc...Imagine bands like Slayer, Deicide etc.. being played in symphony type music played softly on elevators and in doctors offices everywhere.

Well it happened to all the rock and roll that was very controversial at the time it was made. Now Deep Purple, The Beatles etc... is played in such a manner over speakers in offices etc... everywhere! LOL

I'd love to have some Slayer played at my funeral. Let people enjoy themselves when I'm dead. Something like this:

I was in a safeway about 8 years ago and they played Metallica MUZAK.  MUZAK is that shit where they convert normal music into elevator-like MIDI tones and crap and its used for hold music on phone systems, and in elevators and other 'elevator music' places.

Yeah,  I cried a little inside as it meant any shred of my younger days I was still struggling to grasp onto were now shot to death like ole yeller.  I hate being old.

That is what I was getting at, at what point does the rebellious music you love/loved start being old and silly?
