Mimosa hostilis extraction, how long is too long?

basically I'm hoping one of the many self taught experts on mhrb powder extraction will be able to kindly give me a bit of insight into what differences in terms of spectral extraction I can expect given prolonged soaking in the B stage of an extraction.
I'm interested as to whether it will matter that an extraction I started 2 years ago will still be chemically viable given such a long period. The extraction was that of an acid/base 2 step soak. I can't recall the exact tek unfortunately but practically a hcl NaOH process using naphtha (diggers shelite in Australia) as a solvent. The first step (acid soak) was left for approximately 6 months shaken a few times a week, the second step was then engaged in, using a digital ph meter to attain the prescribed ph, care was taken to observe the colour shift to ensure that prescribed ph and the specific mixtures ph threshold were the same. After the NaOH stage it has been left more or less by itself for roughly one and a half years.
Will it still be viable or will it have converted too much of the other possibly nasty alkaloids and compounds? What role if any does chemical equilibrium and or le chateliers principle have to play here? Basically I'm wanting to know whether I can expect any yield from the process or whether I might be better off just ditching it, if any of you fantastically ingenious backyard chemists have any wisdom to provide me on the matter I'd really appreciate it.
Cheers.

if you're trying to do freeze precipitation I don't think you have much to lose with trying but I've read on dmtnexus that longer isn't always better with these extractions. no personal experience however.
seems pretty interesting nonetheless lemme know what happens.

I would check the ph, should be Ph~13
your likely going to have to re-x because after that long the dyes will have likely broken down and will be pulled with the naptha.
also check the ph after every pull it can change.
