cool thanks for the advice and help, and my 'friend' wouldnt have to worry about his patch with me or if im honest there were that many ( im told) that it wouldnt matter if a few people found the patch, seriously they were every where. im told its queit well known for localised natural acurance of cyan in english ancient woodland, for a long time our elder =generation of mushy hunters have called em simply wavy cap or blue leg browny the officials used to call it a panaleous or something until it was found in q gardens an re id'd as cyan by wakefield if i remember (or something to that effect)

That's awesome. I wish I could find them alongside some good edibles here too. Have fun.

It looks to me like your friend did his research and picked from an un-contaminated patch of all the same species. I've seen many look-a-likes growing side by side with actives. The pics are all crowded on the borders so there's no way to know for sure that all his mushies are in the pics!?! But what we can see looks right as far as I can tell.

Sweet, thanks for taking the time out to help guys! Looks like he will be brewing a tea tonight!! Anyone have any suggestions on a dose for a seasoned lib cap taker? Also he has a load of butts, and 2 pieces of colonised myc he accidentally seemed to have pulled from the ground, any one got any suggestions as to how to use these to make his own patch(s)?

I've never done it myself so I'm not inclined to simply regurgitate info I've read pretending to "know". I will say that you're in the right place to learn it though. Go to the "forum index" and poke around, search in the appropriate categories and you'll find what you need for sure. This is a very complete and comprehensive site with a lot of members that have first hand experiences.
