Buy a 15 dollar ceramic heater and heat the room. Pads turning humidity into condensation is bad and I speak from experience. Ive lost flushes due to it. And you really dont need to keep 80 for colonization. 70 is fine and the temp drop as a fruiting trigger is not true for tropical species wich cubes are.
The point of misting/fanning isnt anything to do with FAE really. Its just sorta a side benefit. Reason to do it is to create rapid and repeated evaporation which is a fruiting trigger. It says that in the mushroom cultivator book u bought I beleive . I own the same book. As do many of us.
Just some friendly advice

Although I dont know if it would be less of a problem with pf cakes.... The condensation that is. What happened to me is it would all condensate on the lid of my tub and drip down in the center keeping that area of the bulk substrate saturated which in turn slowed my mycelial growth and allowed for contaminates to take root.

The fruiting chamber is around 68 degrees without a heating source. Isn't that low? 50/50 rye berries and coir is what I'm thinking.

$150 invested… Potential for up to 300 grams… I like where this is going.
I inoculated the jars in a sterilized glove box.
150 bucks for a 12 brf cake set up is rape, you could get a couple syringes from a sponsor, plus the necessary supplies on a hardware store for around $70 total and the satisfaction you did it from scratch
watch the RR videos "lets grow some mushrooms" , ditch the incubation stuff and drill holes for SGFC according to specs and you will get better results, gl
