I've had a lot of trip recall lately
    #19205722 - 11/29/13 05:30 PM (10 years, 2 months ago)

I used to remember every detail of my trips.  I wish I had kept a journal.
I've been having recall of 18 YO trips lately for unknown reasons.  I wish I knew what it was?  I've tried really hard to remember them and sometimes I get a little bit.  Lately I've had a lot.

Maybe I should start a journal too... I've only done psychedelics twice so far and I remember about 80% of the experiences

Even a few sentences should make things click.

It's been a two years only since my first psychedelic experience and I have been tripping consistently on average around twice every 6 weeks. In between these endeavors I'd get flashbacks and slight distortions of reality, even now two years later.

It's quite wonderful, to get these little cuts in reality when you're sober.

I've haven't ever had any real flashbacks, but I sometimes get recall of a trip.

YES!! GET A NOTEBOOK! Write in it :awesomenod:
It can help you remember, sometimes in lots of detail.

I got a nice leather notebook that was broken in during my second LSD experience, which was on 2 tabs and blew my mind completely.
Personally I like to write a full entry or trip report "draft" the morning after. It's still fresh in my mind then, and I often feel very positive and thankful for the experience, which usually allows me to write what I had learned from the trip particularly well.

I'm not sure if this is what you meant exactly by "trip recall", but this is what I interpreted it as in my anecdotal experience...
I think small occurrences, like scents and subtle sounds (hehe), can often subconsciously trigger a memory and snap your mind back to a detail you had forgotten. I'm not sure why it only started happening to you after that long of a time, though! That's very curious; My memory triggers have been happening occasionally since I started tripping, but they seemed to come to me more easily after I started writing down trips, as well as after I got more used to the psychedelic experience.

I don't want to say flashback because that sounds like you're having a trip.

I've never had a "flashback" either, but in my personal experience I get more of a "reminder" of something I had forgotten about a past trip. There are never any visual or mental effects to these reminders, just a quick dusting of the memories that were left behind.

Is this close to what you meant?

Sometimes I have dreams where I trip or get stoned, but I never have that when I'm awake.  I can of course remember what it's like, but I never "have the trip come back" like a lot of people think.  This might happen to some people, but I've never had it.  Does anyone start tripping like that?  We'd love to hear from you.

i've been taking piracetam the past few days and my memory in general is getting better. im slowly remembering things from past trips too. just vaguely but they pop up and if i think about them i can bring them up somewhat.  i've also taken piracetam while tripping, and along with increasing the effects of the trip, the trips i've taken it on i can recall the best.

Only hallusinate through meditation... even though i was able to do this before i tripped...

i seem to get these moments from time to time though.. when I am unable to speak, and all people say become utter non-sence... even sometimes when I write, I get these moments when I start writing a good sentence and all of a sudden start writing words that make the sentence utter bullshit.. though at the very moment of writing it, I would think it sounded perfectly fine... realizing later that this didnt have anything with nlthing to do...

And thus begins the  reverse-fusing of our one-dimentional understanding, and adds ever-expanding perspectives, in depth and number; splitting our perception, and in so doing, seemingly irrationally, creates yet more one-ness, with all that ever was, is and will ever be, streching across the infinite, inunderstood concept of everything, percievable and not.
