Life is pure bliss sometimes 2

Sometimes when I'm randomly walking around, this wave of euphoria, bliss, joy, unity, and happiness just hits me right in the chest and makes me realize how good life is. Not as good as opiates but still pretty damn good, plus it happens when I'm sober.
It's just beautiful, I can't explain it. It's like you realize, whoa my life is pretty damn good and there's still so much more left to enjoy and live. then you think about all these amazing memories you have and all the fun shit you'll be doing with your friends.
U know that feel? Feels good man.

I know the feeling, OP. Just scored a major contract that will make the holidays just that much more enjoyable!

Yeah, I enjoy life too. Some good things are in the near future for me (if every piece falls into place).
Can't wait!

I love that feeling OP, and am lucky enough to get it pretty often. Especially while listening to music, having a smoke, or out on a walk.
Unfortunately other times I get the opposite feeling- being overwhelmed with dysphoric anxiety that makes me feel very uncomfortable, but I guess you have to take the good and the bad.

It's funny I just had one of those moments yesterday while walking outside at 11pm. An intense wave of tranquility came over me. The gentle rustling of the leaves sparked the euphoria. Having just one short moment like this a day is sublime.
I was completely sober as well, by the way!

I was about to say the same. Things such as music, being out in nature, bike rides, road trips...for myself, those seem to really bring about that sensation and feeling Alexestalex is talking about.
And like you 28064212...I too have moments of feeling the opposite as you described. Or having thoughts contrary in nature to the OP, about all the non-sense, hatred, suffering, foul & disgusting shit going on in the world. I try not to dwell on it, but I don't avoid the feeling of and thinking about those sorts of things either.

I feel a constant mild depression almost 24/7 but the euphoria thing does happen to me on occasion. And there's no real reason. I mean, I can jog and get somewhat of a runner's high but it's gone within an hour and I feel completely normal (depressed).
The euphoria thing just sort of .... happens but not often enough for it to really matter.

It is a serious psychological problem if you're just feeling euphoric out of nowhere.
This isn't normal, and you need to get checked out.

Watching the sunset/stars with someone you love is something special. When I am in love and am with the person sometimes I feel like I could die in that moment and I wouldn't be fearful of it. When I have done mushrooms I look at the sunset and that is also special in the same way. It is amazing and in that moment it feels like I know everything I need to know. Happiness is special and don't take it for granted. I would call the feeling nirvana. To me it is the complete feeling of "it doesn't matter" and that to me is peace. In those moments I could feel the deepest pain but it simply doesn't matter and that is a very Buddhist thing.
-------------------- "As I walk on through troubled times my spirit gets so downhearted sometimes so where are the strong and who are the trusted? And where is the harmony? Sweet harmony. Cause each time I feel it slippin' away, just makes me wanna cry. What's so funny 'bout peace love & understanding?" - Nick Lowe "Psychedelic drugs don't change you - they don't change your character - unless you want to be changed. They enable change; they can't impose it...” - Sasha Shulgin

Yeah I would say that the feeling is much better than opiates, even better than a good speedball. It can be cultivated and controlled to some extent, but it is always elusive. There is sometimes a crash, but personally I don't find it unmanagable.
I often get it when I hit the road somewhere, or sometimes if I am really hung over then I have a hearty meal, coffe, maybe a walk or drive and I will feel like a million dollars.
One thing I seem to notice is that weed suppresses that feeling pretty well, as do opiates and most other drugs for that matter, especially alcohol. I guess it is just a natural endorphin/dopamine rush or something, unless it is Jahova shining down his fiery bunghole of love upone me.
