It's always a bad idea to heat the fruiting chamber.

The FC being warmer than the room will cause nasty condensation.

Lol been in the fruiting chamber over two weeks and I haven't seen any growth they look and smell healthy but no pins yet is it because my room is to cold or will that just slow down growth? Two of the cakes are slightly blue thanks for any help

I happened to notice that you seem to have a lot of excess foil around the the bottom of your cakes. from what I've read, this will restrict the water from evaporating off the perlite near the cake, which is where you need it. I'm a noob, correct me if I'm wrong.

I just put cakes directly on the perlite. Not like they mind the moisture.

RR and a whole lot of others will tell you not to place cakes directly on the perlite.

There is not a single tek that says to do this.
In fact there are millions of posts which say not to.
Get them off the perlite.
