Love you, stranger known only as Icelander.
Can't believe I've been hanging around here for over 5 years now. Believe me, I've been reading along. You've had quite the influence on my gestating perception.

Why a tiny window? Do you live with chronic pain or is it something to do with motivation?
On a personal note, I live in England, we don't have 'T-day' here, it took me 15 minutes to figure out what it meant. I'm 5 days into codeine withdrawal and it sucks, so no celebrating for me. Anyway I'm glad you're here posting too Icelander, even though I think you're a bit of a contrarian. I think you have a brilliant sense of humour.

Yes chronic pain actually. And yes it's also something to do with motivation. (humans being generally a pain in the ass)
Anyways thanks for the nice compliment. I like to laugh at everything if possible.

With Kratom my dose is about 8 to 10 grams depending on the mix of types. I mix up a small glass of fresh ginger tea with a couple of tbls of wheat grass powder and the Kratom and gulp it down early in the morning. That usually gets me through the day.

GAH! I haven't yet experienced the Kratom goodness you speak of ice. I tried 3g and 1.5g, both just produce dizzy, vertigo-like feelings. Not really enjoyable. What r i do?

try a different strain, there are 2 or 3 different types of kratom that give different effects, one is more of an upper and another is more sedating. i've always found maya-ethnobotanicals.com to have quality stuff.

Those are pretty low doses but I've learned with these substances that they don't do the trick for everyone. Try five grams of the Malay strain. If you don't like that I'd move on.

haven't tried it in the morning, I tend to dose later at night and take about 10-12 capsules (about 7.5g-9g).. no windows open, rather the opposite - it's much more of a shut the blinds and turn out the lights, put on some jazz, and go to my secret oasis where none of you mothafuckas exist type excursion

If we could look into each others hearts, and understand the unique challenges each of us faces, I think we would treat each other much more gently, with more love, patience, tolerance, and care. It takes a lot of courage to go out there and radiate your essence. I know you scared, you should ask us if we scared too. If you was there, and we just knew you cared too.

I have 20 grams of supposedly potent stuff lying around here but my opiate tolerance is so high from previous years of abuse that I'd probably feel nothing from Kratom.
I know what you mean about a tiny window opening up though--it happens for me when my daily methadone dose starts tingling my mu-opioid receptors and for just a short amount of time all is right with the world.

well I do the same sort of. For the first couple of hours I'm on the couch listening to music. Then I'm up and cruising.
