Southeastern Georgia. These 'oranges' were on an unidentifiable mound of rotting roots in a pine tree farm (I was hoping the mound was oak, but slim chance). Rusty orange spore print.

Looks like it could be a Gymnopilus species.

Really pretty whatever it is.

Gymnopilus as my good man Ganzig has said,
What he didnt say, is that Joust thinks it could be something close to G. penetrans/sapineus (Hesler)
Either case, it is a non-active species of Gymnopilus.
