I've recently just got back on track with my life after being addicted to gambling for about a year. What really woke me up was a trip on acid I had a few months back. Just wondering has anyone else ever had such a good trip that it changed their life's on a negative aspect that you've been stuck with for a long time? (Alcohol addiction, Gambling, Sex addiction, etc.... ?)

I haven't personally but know some people who have been extremely impacted by psychedelics, namely DMT, and radically changed their life. People have had similar success with ibogaine, there are even clinics in some countries for it. One of the first studies done with LSD was to try to cure alcoholism. The results were about 50/50, who knows how long they stayed sober though, but that is still pretty good. Not a sure thing, but when used in healing settings can be very powerful!
It's always good to hear of the positive impact psychedelics can have! Use the time and money that you will be saving to start a hobby, or something constructive to keep the positive vibes flowing!

Yeah seems entirely new for me as I've been tripping on LSD for quite a bit. But yeah I'm glad I got this breakthrough. Thanks anyways.

Depression 5yrs,Alcohol binging 10yrs,Fastfood binging everyday 10yrs,Careless about myself for 10 years or so, Daily weed smoking and cigs
LSD cured that fully and permanently it seems, has lasted 2 years now, no relapse
it is interesting that I was only careless about myself, not about others seems I was living as my thoughts due to stress shamanism got a good term for it, partial soul loss happens to many people, most of us actually, we just never know
gambling addition/many other addictions would come under that term too likely
we never know if we are not ourselves but we know if we are ourselves, no doubt there :-) love everyday/most days
it is only possible to be oneself without drugs/stress/pills mind and body feels best without adding anything when you are yourself you dont need anything, you got everything you need
