Were the jars still hot when you inoculated, did feel even warm to the touch? Coulda killed the spores in your solution.
Also there's a cultivation section where you should take threads like this in the future. You'll generally get more help there.

With my face against the floor I can’t see who knocked me out of the way. I don’t want to get back up but I have to so it might as well be today. Nothing appeals to me no one feels like me, I’m too busy being calm to disappear. I’m in no shape to be alone contrary to the shit that you might hear. You can't wake up, this is not a dream. Either way 84 is way too warm. Bacteria will flourish at that temp you're just asking for contams. Mycelia colonize best in the mid to low 70s.

Light helps in all stages of mycelia development. I'm not sure it mattered but I always kept all growth stages on the 12/12 fruiting stage light cycle throughout its life cycle in plates, jars, whatever. Also usually adjusted the day/night cycle to coincide with sunup and sundown every couple weeks.
