I have many jars that went to bacteria. Is there a way for me to completely clean them for reuse?

You should wear gloves and something to cover your mouth and eyes. Dispose of it in your garbage bin in a tight bag. After getting rid of all the visible material, you could use high-percentage rubbing alcohol to sterilize the jar. It's probably just better to use a pressure cooker to sterilize it if you have one though.

yea its okay.... pc the jars first then open them underwater... water traps the spores so they dont go airborn... be careful and wear a mask... carpenter mask..

guys, the OP mentions bacteria, not mold you have to contact bacteria to spread it.. most rely on a host/carrier for that reason
unlike moulds witch sporulate to find the next victim so some good ol'H20 and Dawn soap will be all thats needed.

sensible info. i consider contamed containers " disposable"
bleach @ 10% in buckets works well also.
some contams can be hazardous. however, its common knowledge that as soon as one purchases spores, they are immune from any basic rules of bio handling.

Yep... If you really wanna save the jar than pc, open under 10% bleach solution is probably the best way to do it and total overkill too . Real strong suggestion of just throwing them out though. Once i see a contam taking hold on me, I dont open shit. Throw it out. Not worth the risk of spreading anything. Just my opinion

Eh. If you say so. For me... I got a ton of them and there cheap so its not worth the effort of pcing again let alone the threat of spreading contaminates.

I empty them outside, clean them as much as I can in my lake, then I clean them with sink water. After that, I fill them full of water and bleach and bleach the outside. Good as new! I have had no serious contam issues like that.
