Did you catch the part where he talked about when they offered him a plea deal after three years and the judge told him to just admit to it and he could go free?

And admit to something you didnt do so that all the people who wronged you get off the hook for free?

It shows character he didnt do that. Balls of steel.

Or simply refusal to admit to a crime he didn't commit on principal. Yes, good for him. I believe I'd have done the same if I'd already reached homeostasis in that environment and was as pissed off about it as he was but then again I'm a skinny white boy with a bubble butt so I might not have fared as well in prison.

It happens every day, though.  People routinely sit in jail for months before being charged and much longer before being tried.  Often, by the time they get to trial, they can take a plea deal for time served and go home or risk more time in jail.  Many take the deal even though they are innocent.

I have seen this happen so many times...

It's happened to me once, I was only in jail for a few weeks but I wanted out asap, I just took whatever plea deal they threw at me.
