or im a hypochondriac .
either or
i had a stroke in january. since then ive had different syptoms come up of ms
Loss of balance Muscle spasms Numbness or abnormal sensation in any area Problems moving arms or legs Problems with coordination and making small movements Tremor in one or more arms or legs Weakness in one or more arms or legs Double vision Eye discomfort Uncontrollable rapid eye movements Vision loss (usually affects one eye at a time) Numbness, tingling, or pain Facial pain Painful muscle spasms Tingling, crawling, or burning feeling in the arms and legs
not even exaggerating. the numbness, double vision, rapid eye movements, vision loss, and burning are the worst. especially the rapid eye movement, its happened twice where i lose control of where im looking for about 5 seconds. its alot worse then i can describe. it makes me grab on for help on whatever is near me it fucks with me so bad. these all have had me going to the doctors once a week. i just found this info on it.
neurologists office is closed which sucks...
what do you all think?

If you live in America I guess you're either going to have to wait until after thanksgiving or go to the er. That sounds pretty fucked up. MS is hard to diagnose, btw.

Man, you sound like me. I can convince myself I have absolutely any disease. You haven't idea how many times I've had cancer, aids, mad cow disease and, yes, MS. I'm not saying you are imagining this stuff, but it is pretty easy to take normal or only slightly abnormal things your body does and fit it into symptom of disease, especially ones with a lot of symptoms.
Can you explain what you mean by vision loss?
How long do these symptoms last?
I don't really know what happens in the brain after part of it dies. Maybe this type of thing is part of the way things get moved to other areas. The fact that this happens on both sides of the body probably means it is unrelated to the stroke. You may want to look into TIAs - transient ischemic attacks which are like lots of little strokes.
You really can't discount the power of anxiety. I really think you have to get symptoms that are observable by other people to worry about MS. There are eye movements, for example, that are observable and probably would arise from actual neurological deficits.
Not to make things worse, but those symptoms also can arise from exposure to toxic materials. Heavy metals like lead, especially.

Very interesting. I'm not exactly sure where OP lives. I think I know what state, and if so, he doesn't really live in an area with a significant rate of Lyme infections.

it's always good to get it ruled out, regardless of where you live. i suggest OP see a lyme literate doctor and a good neurologist.
