Shitake clone on Agar
    #19193015 - 11/26/13 04:56 PM (10 years, 2 months ago)

I grew out a Shitake a lil bit ago,
and I did a clone from the center of the Stipe.

Out of Two they look like This:

From looking around,
I'm guessing CobWeb, although, I've never experienced it before. It grew fast and obviously whispy.
Thoughts?

I'd say cobweb.

Although I have no experience with shiitake mycelium, I do have experience with cobweb.

Compare it to this.

I haven't cloned shiitake, but that looks like an extremely vigorous but otherwise normal culture.  Compare to this.

Nice man, Thanks for that.
