Has anyone seen this before or dealt with it?

I have a few ATL#7 jars colonizing that I recently shook slightly in hopes to speed up the colonization but before I shook one of the jars I could see that around my rusty GE hole was some condensation that had begun to take on the color of the rust it was surrounding. Is this a bad thing or is it fairly normal with rusty lids?

Hey cronicr do you have any experience with shaking the jars slightly to redistribute the condensation and cover the 5% colonized area with fresh uncolonized grains in hopes to speed it up. I'm not planning to fruit many of these so if it does slow down the truffle production will it still produce if I let them sit for a few months?

Damn well I seen on here somewhere that someone accidentally knocked a jar over and shook in up and after a couple days it colonized more quickly and he said to not really shake it but to move it around the jar till it's covered by new substrate and it will colonize faster. I plan on leaving the jars as is for around 4 or 5 months so do you think they will be sitting long enough to start producing truffles? Or does anyone else have anything else to say about this?

It's hit or miss with Galindoi. Some take shaking and some don't. My specific strain takes it just fine.
