Safe to eat? Verticillium or high RH? (pics)
    #19191187 - 11/26/13 10:11 AM (10 years, 2 months ago)

About 1/3 of the fruits from my monotub (9 qts wbs spawn to coir via TranscendingLife's one flush wonder) are huge and deformed. Looks like the results of a possible verticillium infection or perhaps (hopefully!) too high of an RH level. My g/f says she sees green on some of the stalks and that it looks suspect. I'm colorblind and it's hard to discern what's a contaminate and what's note unless the smell is bad -- and everything here smells fine. Also, the photos show about half of the first flush. There's still a bunch of well-formed medium-sized to smaller ones to pick.

Questions are:

1) any ideas as to what the issue is?
2) safe to eat dry?!!!! :crazy2:
3) is my grow space contaminated?

Thanks much?

Your post is so wrong I feel violated

Anyway shrooms are more than ok to eat:billymaythumbup:. Bruising is created by oxidizing active chemicals.
