ATL#7 jars possible sclerotia or mold ?
    #19190095 - 11/26/13 01:14 AM (10 years, 2 months ago)

First and possibly last time cultivating ATL7, i used 1 quart jar with wheat grain as the substrate the mycelium was fine and colonized slowly with no contaminates however as the sclerotia formed they went a bit black and blue with some yellow around them. However as the sclerotia stopped forming i went and harvested it out of curiosity, i now think the blue and black were bruising of the sclerotia .

I harvested them today and took a couple of photos before sticking them in the dehydrator to put away till told they are safe to eat, i didn't get a photo of the jar however the battery's were charging and i couldn't wait any longer, final weight was 69.8g wet.

If anyone would care to tell me if these are edible or not as i am still 50/50 with this being my first sclerotia grow, waiting on my 60lt monotub to start fruiting i think these in some capsuals shall do me quiet nicely :mushroom2:.
