hello got a question.
i have 300 quart jars of sterilized grass seed, unfortunately my spawn masters are a week behind. if i put the cases in plastic bags can i put them in my garage and allow them to freeze, and then thaw them before innoculating them?
i dont think it would damage the jars although it says on the box their not for freezing. im assuming this was put on their for liquids?
any experience would be nice

that was a joke dude. i think i will move em to the basement its 65F down there. i wonder if moisture would be lost from the seeds during a freeze/thaw cycle. im gonna just stick with the basement.

Some species can freeze without problems. P cubensis mycelium is best kept at 40F/3C at a minimum. Remember, it's a tropical species, not a cold weather mycelium like P cyanescens or oysters, shiitake, etc., which can survive long periods of freezing temperature. RR

Isn't he talking about simple sterilized grain in jars? From my comprehension, they have not been noc'd up. IT's just glass, metal, grain and water...
