You can crack some of them apart by hand once they're cracker dry as well, all you gotta do is get 'em small enough to fit in the coffee grinder (or whatever you're using) so you should be alright
Never tried a meat grinder! But I did completely destroy a $100 Ninja Professional blender with some chaga. Oops.

Coolest part for me about this grow was how much I learned from it. I do have access to a large meat grinder for sure for sure, thanks Jeff

Yeah, I feel ya on the cold shit, but that doesn't mean you can't store the sub until it warms up. My outdoor bed spawn is all stored in filter-patch bags and are being stored on a shelf in my basement at around 40F. BTW, doesn't Reishi myc survive in nature being frozen every year anyways...

So the fruits are dry and the cycle is complete. They feel so woody and they gave me a woody too I was able to crack them apart without too much trouble and the hammer can take care of the rest Thanks to everyone for following along and for the excellent advice and support Go Shroomery!

Thanks guys! A lot of the credit for this grow needs to go to forrester who gave me the idea that these could be done in monos in the first place. Even a hack cube grower like me could take that ball and run with it This thread has been a lot of fun, and the reishi were a treat to grow. Not sure when I can give em another go, but I got slants made up and lots of LC so there will be another crack at these for sure. Next time I'm hoping to see conks

Hey, thanks
Not sure when you'll NEED to give 'em another go after that harvest!
If you get any humidity up there at all you can probably toss some outside in the summer and get some conks goin' on. Hell, do a 5g bucket grow and fruit it out a few holes in the side. With your strain, and a high spawn rate like you did, you could probably get some record setting conks!

That's me Pasty - pseudo-cube grower
However after receiving some reishi product and being super inspired by this thread I'm gonna be doing some reishi monos too as, among many others reasons for growing reishi, yr grow looked awesome
Having read this thread is there really much point me taking up my garden by growing reishi on oak logs which was my original intention??

Well I am planning my next go with these and I am gonna top fruit em again in a mono. Tubs are just too easy. Gonna change up the mono design a bit tho, and i got some ideas on the configuration I am gonna go with Will probably do another grow log on it.
