Does anyone here still still play Skyrim?
    #19188881 - 11/25/13 08:20 PM (10 years, 4 months ago)

I took a six month break after playing almost 200 hours non-stop, and now I'm about to begin again.  Is there anyone here who still plays?  And if you do still play, please do tell me about your sexy character. :dragon:

I actually just made a new character after a couple months off myself. Fantastic game! Decided to make a stealth archer that also uses one handed weapons and shield. Haven't put a single point in any magic. I can't wait for elder scrolls online!

 Sounds like a good character.  I'm currently playing my old Khajiit who I made use single handed weapons and wear heavy armor for some reason.  She is a beast though.  My smithing and enchanting are both at 100 so I can kill dragons in one or two hits  :n00bslayer:

My argonian its fucking killer:stoned:, he can smash anyones head with his two handed hammer, but he uses light armor so he is fast like the wind.

And some conjuration skills always come in handy:wink:.

I have been playin it for the last two weeks. Then i got to play the TESO beta over the weekend and that made me wanna play skyrim even more!

I have a hard time sticking with a character though and I've done most of the quests like a billion times so it's kinda boring and I usually quit around level 20 something only to start over a day later.

I'm taking a break but my most recent character was a high elf conjurer/illusionist turned power hungry necromancer

he would kill or deceive anyone in his way on the path of more knowledge and power and with the aetherial crown and ritual stone he regularly walked around with a 50+ zombie horde.

He also killed his former allies once he became evil and kept their bodies in his basement to use as thralls.

I was gonna make him a vampire at some point buuut he got deleted

Never really got into the vampire dlc.  I prefer the original, but I do play on PC so I do enjoy a good mod or two...Speaking of mods...Does anyone have any good ones that they'd like to share?  I always love to see what other people are doing to the game.

REEEALLY? I can't even play Skyrim without the DLC. Dawnguard is the best part of Skyrim yo.

and I'm on console so no mods for meee.

Yeah, I guess I'm crazy.  I just get a better kick out of the original for some reason.  Maybe once I finish the entire quest line, then I will actually play with Dawnguard.  Honestly, I just found it too easy.

you could say that about the entire game
it's not about difficulty, it's about the atmosphere and the story, plus all the new great quests, items, spells that have nothing to do with the Dawnguard storyline.

Honestly, the main quest in Skyrim is the weakest quest line in the entire series. Dragonborn helped a bit though.

I definitely agree with you that Skyrim has the weakest plot line.  Oblivion has my favorite plot line.  I just enjoy Skyrim because its so beautiful and I love the combat.

Yep still skulking around with my "suprise your on fire" breton/vampire lord. Full dual enchanted dadric that I recreate every few hours for something different. I haven't found anything that gives any kind of challenge in a while though.  Just keep screwing around and developing a small hoarding problem.  I have so much shit in the house you can build sometimes the game crashes.

I looooove Oblivion's storyline.

Skyrim definitely improved on it's graphics and a lot of the combat mechanics though, makes the old ones a bit harder to go back to.

Good thing I did every possible thing times over in Oblivion.

You don't know a hoarding problem until you finish the plot with a character and then you decide well, why don't I just try to have one of every single item in the game?  I have all of the houses, and they are all overflowing with every fucking item possible.  I mean I even collected a piece of cabbage and cheese.  :cheese:

I just got the skyrim legendary edition, but it doesn't want to run on my laptop . . . so I'm going to buy a new PC to mine LTC and play skyrim at the same time, win/win.

You can play it offline, you just have to connect and put steam in offline mode.

I haven't made it far in the game, too heavy a dependence on point to point delivery and fetch quests. There's not much depth in the game, despite it's large and environmentally pretty world. I still have it installed, though, and hope to get further in it. It's also still a top seller on Steam, so lots of people are surely playing it.

I got it at deep discount, seems fun so far.  I noticed it uses more CPU than GPU.

Should I be using a 360 controller?  or is there a  way to use a ps3 controller as a 360 controller?

If you're on PC, you should use keyboard & mouse. Otherwise, I don't think the choice of controller matters much. they have the same buttons, don't they?

I prefer a 360 controlller (wireless) on PC.. For games that don't need it. But RTS games and other shit which pretty much needs a mouse and keyboard no matter what, I obviously don't use a controller.

I hear skyrim requires mad skills and serious precision in which the ONLY way to play is keyboard and mouse  It's fucking skyrim, play it however you enjoy it, doesn't matter two shits...

Now if you keyboard turn in WoW or are a UI clicker OTOH, you're a complete nub....

My laptop of 8 years just died recently, so I decided to go all out on a custom desktop that can handle Skyrim fully modded, and much more.  I actually just bought the game and am on my first play through.  I made a Nord named Hooganpaff and he is level 47 now, about 20 hours logged.  Just got married to Lydia.  I played the Elder Scrolls games of the past and I love this one, it is so beautiful and fun.  The only problem is that it is too easy.  Nothing is even remotely challenging anymore, because I found a lot of the daedric artifacts and my skills have been well leveled throughout my adventuring.  I actually had what I call "gaming ADD" the other night, just suddenly lost all interest, and haven't played for 3 days now.  I am thinking about putting the mod on that levels enemies with you to keep it challenging.

I started playing again once I took a long enough break to forget all the console commands because I was doing stupid shit like going to High Hrothgar and loading 5000 cheese wheels to watch them rain down the mountainside.  It's also fun to load huge fields of opposing characters to watch them duke it out.

Skywind mod trailer shows Morrowind remade in Skyrim
Phil Savage at 04:06 on 06 December 2013

Skyrim is a beautifully vast and sweeping game. Also vast: the possibility of its modding potential. The nomadic fans of Morrowind are crossing those rolling plains of creation, as part of their quest to settle within the safety and shelter of this newer game's engine. Their journey started just over a year ago, and now - while still far from the home stretch - they've made great progress. They've even released a trailer showing just how far they've come.

Skywind is currently on version 0.91, and, according to its makers, still very much in alpha. "You can move around the world, interact with a few things, but the full content of questing, gameplay and many other various elements are not part of the game yet," they write. "These Alpha releases are more for getting people interested, inspired and up-to-date with development so they can help with the project."

Nevertheless, it's a fantastically ambitious project that appears to be progressing nicely. You can download Skywind from the Morroblivion website, stopping only briefly to appreciate how great the word "Morroblivion" is. To play it, you'll need both Skyrim and Morrowind (along with the Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansions) installed on your computer.

Thanks, RPS.

I played through Skyrim on the 360 numerous times.

Recently I made a new gaming PC and decided to download Skyrim and mod the shit out of it.  I'm pretty blown away by the improvement.  It's like a whole other game, and with all the DLC I've never played and the mod expansions I've got a ton to do.

Started a Khajit rogue/illusionist.  Easily the most OP combination in all the recent TES games, but it's fun at the start!

Doing the alternate start was pretty cool.  Very weird to start out in a city you don't normally get to until you're quite high level.

I thought about buying skyrim for my new gaming PC I built also, especially when it was only like 8 bucks, but I know other then goofying around with the mods I wont actually PLAY it much since I've done EVERYTHING there is to do.

I just started playing it last Monday, when it was on sale for $15. I picked the dark elf character cos I like using spells and light armor. I've already put about 20 hours into it and I must say it is one of the best games I've ever played.

http://thepiratebay.sx/torrent/8552356/The.Elder.Scrolls.V.Skyrim.Legendary.Edition-WaLMaRT

That copy is working great with every mod I've thrown at it.

I already paid for the intellectual property on the 360.  I don't see why I need to pay again for the exact same game in another format.

Also, very worth it IMO.  Really, the mods add so much, plus there are mod only expansions that add a significant chunk of game time.

It might have been long enough for me to go back and try out Oblivion again (of course with a herpton of mods).  I did literally EVERYTHING that can be done in that game.

Maybe I just wasn't... I don't know... playing it right?

I played Oblivion, and Skyrim. Oblivion I had 280 hours on one Warrior with a touch of magic(almost like a paladin type character) then the other was a straight up mage. Skyrim I went with a mix of the two. Balanced between destruction and restoration on the magic side, while going with heavy armor and one handed weapons on the warrior side. Love both of these games. Truly a beautiful world to immerse one's self in

I felt Oblivion was way too hard to play.  Seemed like no matter what build I did I would get to a certain point and out of nowhere the enemies were near impossible to kill, but then again I'm a stupid worthless piece of shit so it's obvious that I'm just too stupid to play it.

This is exactly the DLC that made me spooge to play TESO.  I don't care if its not perfect elder scrolls in every way.  I want to run around all the DIFFERENT landscapes that were not available to me in oblivion and skyrimjob.  TES scenery is worthy of just wandering around and being a game all by itself even if it had no npcs, mobs, attack options or anything.

I love Skyrim, I've been playing on and off since release. I often binge on it obsessively followed by long breaks. I've yet to find a game that bests it, and I've tried believe me.

I lost months of my life to this black hole of awesomeness in late 2011/early 2012.  And recently (in the last week) I started playing again.  Think I must try the DLCs also since I didn't play any of them.  Back to Morrowind...sounds sweet!

Yeah, I lost a good solid year of heavy heavy playing to skyrim before I literally completed every single thing there is to do, and put it down until the DLC's came, then I did those, put it back down again, now there are no more DLC's.

for me its all about TESO... until a new fallout or whatever elder scrolls following skyrim comes along.

About to start this tonight. I've been out of gaming for the 7 years that I was mentally ill and otherwise stuporous and I'm feeling close to baseline again so time to get back into my old interests - such as gaming! Loved Morrowind, it became my life over a holiday period back in the day. Two days at a time, one night's sleep, and rinse/repeat. Completely amazing experience but I think I fucked up my youth. Oh well.

Yeah I am getting fed up with these indie games. They are too stressful for me to play. I have a lot of fun in the beginning but then there is just too complex of shit that IDK how the hell anyone figures it out unless all you do is game and you are autistic or some shit (not trying to be mean). I don't know why I keep buying them. I guess because they are cheap on steam. And I buy way too many games on Steam sales.

I had some fun playing like 10 hours of Torchlight II but it just got too repetitive for my tastes.

Just downloaded Just Cause 2.

After that back to Skyrim. With graphics mods it looks so amazing. Can't wait to get back into it. I just want to play a chill game and explore and shoot shit with my bow.

It is winter. No mushroom hunting. Time to ski, start up my oyster grow and game!

I spent a solid year playing it almost daily to every other day for many many many many hours at a time.  2 playthroughs.  It is an amazing game for sure.

I played it, finished it, made another character, finished it again... haven't touched it since.

some aspects were better than the earlier ones, mostly grapchics... but for the most part I found the actual gameplay/depth/character development in skyrim to be a bit lacking.

morrowind, I played it every day for like 2 years... made prolly 10 characters, each of them quite different from each other for the most part.

If morrowind were to be released again, with a few current day tech enhancements and tweaks, I'd be completely hooked.

Yeah, I sucked some serious hours into that bitch.  Part of why I'm so excited for elder scrolls online.  I have a shit ton of fun just running around in a pretty open world running into random stuff to experience it, instead of being forced in a linear fashion.

New post on pcgamer about TESO, they say it will take roughly 20 to 30 minutes real time to run from the nothern border to southern border just in cyrodil by itself, let alone if you add in all the other countries in TESO now... SO EXICTED I COULD PEE

Oblivion was released on PS3 and I played fifteen minutes of it before turning it off forever in disgust.

Did you get in the beta?  I was in it...found it to be extremely boring.

Don't know what I was expecting from a TES MMO, but it wasn't there.

If you just signed up I don't forsee you getting in with the millions of people who signed up ages ago.  I was in the last beta run and I really liked it.  There is huge chunks of stuff missing though and I could see how you could get bored or feel it just isn't "right".  I felt that way when I very first logged in but I quickly got into it.

It turned into a grind for me immediately.  Complete with competing for spawns with a shit ton of people.  If I get another beta run I'll give it another shot, but my expectations won't be nearly as high this time.

I sort of felt a little of that, but only because the entire beta test was everyone starting at level 1 at the same time, so you had a clusterfuck of 50k people all running around the same level 1 zone at start.  As for competing for spawns, you know you just had to hit the mobs right?  There is no 'ownership' of a mob so if you are supposed to be killing some for loot or quests or whatever as long as you help dish out some of the damage you will get your loot drops or quest markers.  But I know what you mean about a ton of people running around the same little quest areas.

I'm thinking about picking this game up for my PS3.  Is it worth paying full price for the Legendary Edition?  I can get the original release for $20 used.  I hear that the original has a lot more bugs and glitches that are patched in Legendary Edition.  If that's the case I think I would pay full price based on that alone not to mention having all the DLC.

It is worth having if you are going to play Skyrim, but I agree that the price is expensive.  Your call

Its definitely better than the original, but then again, the original is still fantastic.

I got a copy of the original on release day for my PS3.  Played the ever-loving shit outta it.  Never had problems.  Any patches you need will most likely download anyway after installing the game as long as you are connected to the internet.

I'm playing it again now after a long hiatus.  I fucking LOVE this game!  I was gonna start the DLCs since I never played them but I am finding I still don't need them to enjoy this game all over again.  I'll get to them eventually.

Upgraded my video card on this crummy computer and now it runs fine at Ultra High with the hi-res texture packs. I guess with no life at the moment besides the basics I might as well bring back my Morrowind lifestyle.

My second playthrough was a lot more fun as well,. only because I played way outside my normal play style though and pretty much ignored the main quest to focus on all the stuff I didn't do the first time around.

I'm bumming it as well, right now I don't have school or work so I've just been gaming a lot.
I'm pretty sure I did every quest in skyrim (excluding dlc) so I bought oblivion but can't really get into that one. Feel like I should have just gone with the skyrim dlc

Skyrim is the best game I've ever played, the only reason I bought a console was to play it. I have been trying to play Oblivion because I hear nothing but praise for it but I have a hard time adjusting to the graphics that pale in comparison to Skyrim. As for my character he is a Nord with a shaved head and a beard, nothing spectacular underneath the Daedric armor:shrug:

I completed the main quest line and I do the other quests sometimes but most of the time I get lost exploring the vast world and immersing myself in the lore that is scattered throughout the game as books.

Should of bought a pc instead! MODS!!! theres plenty of mods that overhaul oblivion amazingly!! So no need to worry about outdated graphics, just mod it up!! Same goes for Morrowind

Anyways I HAVE FINALLY BEGUN PLAYING SKYRIM AGAIN!! slowly building skyrim into my own lil world. Very happy with my character for once. I always end up creating a character that I end up regretting cause I overlook a feature or something, like aww I forgot to add this or that but not this time! I made a wood elf mastering the archery class first naturally. I'm at level 21 and just turned the difficulty up to master since its a bit too easy playing through with a bow at the lower difficulties. Its still tough though, like if you get hit with a power blow by a two handed weapon its instant death

the one thing I hated about oblivion on my 360 was when you are riding your horse it gets so load-laggy.  Like constantly pegging the disc drive or something every 15 feet it feels like.

There's something about these Elder Scrolls engines that makes them a bit dodgy in that they skip frames and like has been said every 15ft or something they'll seem to lag for a moment.

I think it has something to do with buffering. If you tweak the PC .ini files you can probably fix it.

I love Skyrim! I run about 100 mods and I have so much fun with it. I've been participating in The Elder Scrolls Online Beta too. Got in on two 3 day sessions. So much fun! Mods aren't everything, but they really improve the overall experience IMO. Loved the console version of Skyrim just as much though.

Here is a couple screenshots of my modded game:

You might not have the best eye for engines and their quality, which is a good thing otherwise you're an uber nerd.

IMO those modded graphics are superb, far better than vanilla...

Oh wow.  Not my cup of tea.

I've got Skyrim modded up the wazoo...but not to look all cartoony like that.  Mine is way grittier and more realistic.  Most of my mods are to make it more immersive.  Really roleplaying through a character, very little to no fast travelling, with realistic needs and diseases, plus the mod that makes you get wet and cold and what have you.

Pretty much followed this guy's advice through the whole series, but tweaked a few things and added a couple here and there:

^Really good place to start if you're looking for info on modding...just...be ready.  This guy is verbose.

I'm sure someone has made a mod of Oblivion but in the Skyrim engine...
If you guys know of anything like this let me know because that would be really cool.
I loved the gameplay improvement of Skyrim like using a sword in one hand and spells in another but Oblivion was 10 times the game Skyrim was...

YES SARA!! CHECK THIS OUT!!!

Gotta disagree with ya, as much as I love the daedric lore in oblivion. The Dragons win me over in Skyrim plus I hated closing those oblivion gates

Nope! you can install the mods with your current character.

Frostfall is super cool, too.  Adds a hot/cold bar.  Really makes travelling dangerous.  You have to build a camp, set up a tent, etc when it gets too cold and wait for a break in the storm.  Different armor has different heat retaining properties...its pretty great.

Yeah, but it's nowhere near done.  You can mod Oblivion out the wazoo to improve it loads, though.

It depends.  Some mods will screw up if you use an old save file, some won't.  Pretty cool to do a new character anyway, especially if you use this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9557 which lets you pick a different starting point than the bogus intro quest.  As a bonus, if you don't want to be the dragonborn...you don't have to!  My current guy is a sneaky thief assassin Khajit.  Doesn't make sense for him to be dragonborn, so he isn't!  You have the option of starting the main quest at any time, but you don't HAVE to participate, which makes the roleplay opportunities a lot cooler for me.

I do. I have a wood elf who's pretty much strictly an archer. Archery is bad ass in this game I'd you level it up all the way. It's a great game but I think I like oblivion better. The random encounters in skyrim can be a little cooler and the graphics and combat are obviously much better but the quests and feel of oblivion are just better to me. Plus the dungeons (my main love of Bethesda rpg's) are much deeper and better designed. Not to mention how dumbed down skyrim is. Still a great game regardless.

Playing stoned definitely makes the quest better IMO. Cant wait to see what they can do on the new xbox one. I just blew 500 bucks on it as a late christmas gift for yours truly.  Kinda disappointed with it sofar. Slow download times. You have to download fuckin everything.and theres like 2 games and you cant play old 360 titles.. but the graphics are nuts. And once its loaded theres no lag at all. But since theres no games I just restarted skyrim. Playing as high elf illusionist theif assassin.  Great game.

Man, thats a tough call.  Similar in so many ways, yet such absolutely different experiences.  It'd be too hard for me to pick between them.  I love the weapons in the Fallout games, but I love the face-to-face battles in TES.  I love the desolation of Fallout, but I love the beauty of TES.  I love the futuristic/sci-fi grittiness of Fallout, but I love the old-world majesty of TES.  Yeah...can't choose.

I play fallout 3 more frequently now because I'm just now starting over on it, But skyrim is awesome, I have an Argorian named Fell Darkblade which I play as an assassin, even though skyrim doesn't really have a class system.

Anybody have a really hard time with the xbox360 version glitching? It seems like every major quest line for me is fucked. For example the companions quest line is stalled as well as the Markarth forsworn quest and the dark brotherhood as well. I've even had Farkas chase me to the other side of the map all while FORCING me to talk to him :mad2: I had to go to prison to set it right. And while all of this is going on sometimes dragon skeletons fall from the sky.

Now most of these wouldn't be a problem if I had kept any of my old saves, but I didn't. I'm thinking of just starting over even though I have quite a bit of time wrapped up in my character. Needless to say I've been getting into Oblivion, the story line has more depth than Skyrim.

I cant wait to the new one comes out for those of you who havent played Morrow Wind omg.......I promise you do not know what your missing. Its on the older platforms but as soon as you cast a spell (thats not on any of the newer ones) and start flying its on. The graphics are a bit hard to explain a bit blocky but not 2d.

Well I got it on the PC now. I'm gonna the mod the shit out of it and then start a new game with the mod "Wrymstooth" which is like a whole extra DLC professionally done so I've heard.

Should be fun a lot of fun with the new content and not having played it for so long, I haven't played Skyrim in like half a year(or more). I really need to get my controller hooked up to my PC but meh... don't feel like spending more money.

The graphics though, god damn. I'm use to playing it on the 360 and the difference is just insane. Looks great, can't wait to try some retexturing mods.

I would say PC.... because you can just get an adapter and play with the xbox controller or PS controller. I don't mind playing with keyboard/mouse though.

You can mod the shit out of PC and fix bugs that isn't fixable, not to mention Skyrim crashes more often and the loading times is horrendous on the consoles.

I've been playing it and I'm enjoying the PC version more (and I've put several hundred hours on skyrim on the 360)

One of my biggest annoyances on the 360 version was the load times were pretty bad, I just timed it and my average loadscreen was over ~23 seconds, generally almost 30.

It takes less than 5 seconds to do it on this computer. Makes it so much more enjoyable when I'm not spending 30 minutes staring at loading screens when playing for a few hours at a time.

That and I'm in love with these graphics, it is just insane to see the difference between PC and Console and I've been a big console gamer. I never thought I'd be saying I like the PC version better

I've got an ASUS 8 gig ram 64 bit OS

with an intel core i5-4570 @ 3.2 GHz and about ~750 gigs of memory

I run the game on the highest setting possible and have modded enhanced graphics... it looks spectacular.

I don't even have a top of the line computer... I got this for about 750 bucks.

The game runs so smooth, definitely enhanced my gameplay. Using a controller it feels like I'm playing on my console but like a HD remake with no lag/wait time.

The retextures are great, don't get me wrong, but the lighting is what makes the biggest difference.  The lighting in vanilla Skyrim is pretty terrible.  Just ambient blue light in most dungeons.  With mods some of those places get to be downright spooky.

Again, I REALLY recommend following Gopher's tutorials while you're getting started modding.  He has some great ones and shows you in (sometimes too much) detail how to do everything.

I haven't added in different lighting, that is a great idea thanks. I'll check him out, I think I watched a bit of it a long time ago but I never had it on the PC before so actually modding skyrim wasn't something I could do.

I'm going to finish Wrymstooth before I add any other new mod though, don't want to end up messing something up.

After I do all this, I think I'm gonna go back and mod the shit out of oblivion too. Never did that either. Should be fun - haven't played oblivion in years.

So I must say, wow, what a difference.

I've added so many mods to Skyrim that it feels like I'm playing a different game altogether.

I've made combat much more challenging, I've balanced magic out to actually BE WORTH USING, destruction was such a pathetic skill line in vanilla minus the overpowered impact skill.

-New homebases
-Tons of new enemies
-New spells/conjures
-New dragons and more difficult
-Baby dragons to accompany the big un's.
-Alduin is actually fucking hard (He was a joke for "Eater of worlds")
and so much more like bugfixing and shit

I can't believe I've been missing out on this modded experience.

A++

I use realistic lighting overhaul.

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30450/?

You should be able to lay it out over any other mods without problems since all it changes is the lighting.  If you find out your system can't handle it, it's as easy as unchecking it in your mod manager.

I love the realistic lighting mod, makes all dungeons soooo spooky..:uhoh:

But be warned if you run this mod, you might fall off a cliff while running from a dragon on legendary in the middle of the night with no torch or magicka to light your way:nonono:

You can make it way better...

HD Texture packs
Realistic lighting mod

Probably a bunch more out there.. I haven't played in a while.. but those two alone make the game look 5x better.

No....no it doesn't.

I can't go back to vanilla.  I watched my room mate play on the 360 and was baffled at how awful it was by comparison.

Yeah the game looks so dope with everything added in with mods. Comaring it to my 360 version is just painful now. Sometimes 30 second loading screens and shit for subpar graphics while my computer does it in 5 seconds on ultra high graphics + retexture/lighting/shadow mods. Insane.

Not to mention being able to have mudcrabs with posh hats and monocoles in is pretty funny

Here's a GREAT list of mods for your heads:

http://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:Core_Mods

Lots of immersion friendly stuff that improves the overall skyrim experience a lot.  Also, these are very low impact mods, so you can likely install and keep your saves running.  I just downloaded over 120 from the list :awesome:

Don't just install them all blindly, go through and see what you like about what.  Make your conflict/replacement choices in an informed manner!

Sweet list man. I'm at work so I can't add it in, but I'll check it out tonight. Can't wait to have another skyrim nerdathon this weekend :yesnod:

I generally add in only a few at a time (making sure they don't do anything with each other) and run the game and make sure everything is added in properly. I hear a lot of people talking about corrupted saves and what not and can see why.

I paid like $750 in december for my PC with no monitor and I can run it on ultra high settings with enhanced graphic mods with 0 lag/framerate issues and the load time is literally ~5 seconds.

I sat down last night, turned on my 360 and the first loading time was like ~35 seconds, I laughed and turned it off because I can't sit through those ridiculous screen times anymore. Not to mention all the freezes and lag it has on the 360, I heard the playstation version had it far worse off too.

The mods though man, that is the best part:

I've completely redone how magic works: It is so much better now. Vanilla skyrims magic was fucking stupid. All the master spells sucked pretty much, illusion was the worst, dual casting expert illusion spell > master spell... what the fuck?

I have a mod that adds in so many cool spells like the old feather, night vision, new destruction/summons/new master spells, etc

I also hated how we could have 100% enchants for infinite magic use it pretty much destroyed any need of raising magicka beyond a certain point, with the mod I have in it flips alchemy and enchanting. So instead of getting -% magic cost from enchanting, you get +% damage or time of skill duration depending on the magic skill. Balances it out very nicely to encourage you to use points into magicka and you get more out of your spells. So a real wizard is going to be terrifying!

Vanilla skyrim magic? Meh.................. compared to Oblivion, skyrim went off in the wrong direction

Yeah, it's as easy as running a HDMI cable or w/e you use.
