Thanks. I'll see if they have late withdrawal or the like here. Hopefully there's something to help me

he's paying for that class though
people go to the bathroom during test don't see why he can't come in a little late
unless it was some like huge room where you're expected to show up and they hold of the test 15minutes anyway..

Even if you take a W you still have to retake that class hope its the same teacher and he fails you outright.
Trade school classes they lock the door in some classes.

I'm currently unemployed
For every job I've ever had showing up five minutes late was usually a "Hey, you're late, don't do it again" if I did it without calling ahead or something. Almost everyone I know or have interacted with is the same way. Many of the extreme deadlines that colleges put on people are actually the exception and not the rule. I understand why they do it, but using the pretense of "that's how the real world works" is usually bullshit more often than not. Missing a deadline by five minutes is usually not the end of the world.
In high school they tell you "this won't fly in college", except they're usually wrong. In college they tell you "this won't fly in the real world" except they're usually wrong.

I find that to be even less true of people with careers than with jobs.
I'm not saying it NEVER happens, but when people say "that's the way the world works" they're flat out wrong. In some instances that's the way the world works. Life is, surprisingly, not so black and white.

I'm fairly sure you already know the answer to that and are simply trying to discredit me because I myself do not have a career. However I know plenty of people that do and every job I've ever had involved working with people who had careers. My parents had careers. My friend's parents. My parent's friends. My friends. My siblings. My friend's siblings. So on and so forth.

so based on what other people told you, it works like that.
and then based on what OTHER people told you, it works like this.
so again, what is your experience based on. anecdotes? im not seeing why your friends and family are more reliable than a college professor

if you agree to show up at a certain time, and you dont uphold that. then what the fuck do you expect?

Because most people are reasonable human beings and realize the world doesn't revolve around themselves. I know it's hard to believe sometimes, but people really are like that. If you're not chronically late people are usually forgiving.
k00laid: It's my experience along with plenty of other people's experience. What else should I base my beliefs of the world on? For every college professor I had that wouldn't let you take a test for showing up five minutes late I had multiple others who didn't give a fuck.
I haven't had a career yet, so until I do and can add personal experience in (which is still only a single career compared to the countless other careers people have) I will go on what I have heard and experienced for others. Not to mention I already said I worked with people who had careers. When they showed up five minutes late their supervisor (who was also my supervisor) treated them exactly the same as they treated me. The only difference was they were salaried and I was hourly.

I would expect five minutes less time to complete the test and perhaps a slightly lower score as a result.
