My roommate doesn't wash his hands after #2, should I be afraid?

This friend is otherwise an OK roommate and pays his rent on time.
I'm not kidding though: It's hard not to notice this bad habit, and I don't know how to bring it up. It disgusts me and goes against my every OCD instinct.
Should I be afraid?

Yes you should be worried. He could be spreading his feces on areas you touch.

Meningitis can be transmitted through feces so yes there's one thing to be cautious about

Do you touch your shit when you wipe? I fail to see the problem here, it's a conditioned response that is irrelevant.

what the fuck. that guy sounds like a disgusting piece of shit. dont live with him. It is NOT okay. there are tiny feces particles ALL OVER everything in a bathroom...too microscopic to see. Even though your hand doesnt seem to touch poop some poop still gets through the paper. LIKE IT OR NOT. /endthread

Should I be afraid?
do you wash your old lady's cunt before you lick it?
you know it's about an inch from her dirty asshole?
wrap your mind around that

They're all throughout the house and you're constantly breathing them in. Washing your hands doesn't keep you safe from them. You're also breathing in the shed asshole, ball and pussy skin of everyone you let in your house, and even some you don't.

For all the people defending the guy not washing his hands after he shits.
How about I ask you this, why SHOULDNT he wash his hands after?
Maybe I'm crazy, but I like to wash my hands after my fingers have been next to shit, separated by only a few layers on paper.

The idea that washing your hands saves you from the big bad poo particles is ridiculous. I'm not saying don't wash your hands, but I don't make a big deal of it when someone doesn't.

yes yes yes! this is exactly my point! everything should be scrubbed down with bleach meticulously. never go anywhere without hand sanitizer. keeping a clean sterile environment is of the utmost importance!!!

Man have an intervention on him with everybody you guys know, and your ocd doctors. Let everyone he associates with know, and then he will be so ashamed he will have to give up his dirty habit.

Anonymous #1 said: He's back to his old habit. Unfortunately it's hard to teach him if he's not willing.
But it makes for great comedy:
Cleaning a dish: Turning on the water and getting it somewhere near the faucet.
Cleaning anything else: If it happens, involves a whole roll of paper towels for a small area.
Having a cig: Must be every 15 minutes, and the butt probably made it in the can if it's thrown in that general direction.
Making dinner: Use every bit of cookware possible, make as much mess as needed, leave the dishes in the sink and leave.
and so on...
My list of resentments grows till me or my other roommate explodes, then he'll change for a couple days. It is hard to watch, cause he's a friend that is always unwittingly building a case against himself due to extreme laziness. </vent>
If it bothers you so much....don't get mad ...get even.
Tell your buddy that you want to play a game with him. Be really excited and look earnestly that you wish him to go along.
Now before this begins, go fetch a bunch of news paper and spread them out on the living room floor.
Next have him lay on his back, with his eyes closed, and his mouth open. Tell him that if he keeps his eyes closed, and goes along with the game, he will win a huge shitload of a prize.
Next, just straddle his face, drop your pants and unleash a huge shit right in his mouth, and face.
When he asked you; " what did you do that for?"
just tell him that it bothers you when he doesn't wash his hands after he shits

You should be extremely afraid OP.
A recent study shows that 92% of people that don't wash their hands after #2 are serial killers.

Solution: apply honey to the toilet lever. Also apply to the inside door handle to the bathroom door in case he doesnt flush (it doesnt sound like he does)

After peeing isn't so bad...after all, uring is kinda sterile...I mean unless there is a herpes sore that you touched while grabbing your dick to aim it in the toilet.
As for shitting, yes, you should wash your hands. Some people try to save money by using less squares of tp, some us more, some use less. You have no idea.
I say you just tell him you're OCD and that it really disgusts you that he doesn't wash his hands and that if he doesn't you will evict him.
Just be blunt about it.
