How is that even comparable to someone from Utah liking the Broncos? Your argument holds no weight man. I expect people from Utah to like the Broncos just like I would expect someone from Portland to like the Seahawks, or someone from friggin Nebraska to like the Chiefs. As long as they stand by their team and don't just show up for championships what's the problem?

As for tonight, we'll see if Kaep has his head on straight. If he does play to his potential little RG3 stands absolutely no chance on the field with him, IMO.

You got a point with the run game/defense, definitely our biggest advantage tonight.

Like I said i'm done with that argument, latchkey fans can think whatever they like, all good.

What exactly is his potential?
This morning NFL network said the 9ers have the leagues worse passing attack. Kaep has almost 1,000 less passing yards then RGIII and fewer TD's this season.

Edit: Didn't see your edit :tongue2:

He has more physical potential than any QB in the NFL, it's just a matter of him getting in the zone and harnessing it.

What the fuck is a latchkey fan? You said you don’t live in seattle, guess you are a latchkey fan too man  Same with people that live in the Kansas side of Kansas city. For the biggest bandwagon fan base in the NFL at the moment to come up with something ridiculous like that is pretty funny. It shows why you guys can’t hold onto teams. Once the hawks go to shit you will lose them too because you all are fair weather as fuck

I like how you try to bring up economic importance. Ya because we All know Saint Louis and Detroit are some of americas finest areas. Utah is one of the richer states dude, one of the many benefits of being a homogenous society with low crime rates. I think Utah also has the highest growth rate. If the NFL ever decides to Expand we will get a team, and i will still be a fucking bronco fan......

You’re really butthurt about something dude. Did a dude from Salt lake fuck a girl you loved from afar and were too scared to talk to?

What about Cam Newton?

Alfred Morris is the guy who can turn the game in favor of the Redskins, cause 49ers run defense is nothing special. However I picked the 49ers because right now they are a better team overall.

Yeah, Cam Newton is much more physical than Kap. No contest.

I think Cam and Kap are pretty similar. Cam is a better all around player though with a much higher ceiling. Kap is the guy that exists because Cam wrote the book.

It's Sports Science guys, deal with it

Really though, what specific aspect do you think Cam is better in? You got numbers on it? I'm pretty sure Kaep is faster and has more arm power etc...

Cam can take hits and still play good football. When Kap takes hits, he starts making mistakes, that's a fact. I am not saying he is a bad QB, I am just saying that he is not in the same league as Cam Newton.

"Overall numbers highest of any QB we've ever tested." Ok, well I guess if it's overall then Cam probably does have a couple specific categories where he might be better.

Like I keep saying though, none of that matters if he doesn't start showing up on the field.

You guys might think tonight's game sucks but I'm stoked for it. We argued a lot last season about Kaep vs. Rg3, now we finally get to see them play.

Leopard for you to say "that's a fact" is silly. That's an obvious opinion. 1st game of the season he got his ass rocked by Matthews and jumped right back up and kept dominating. He got hit hard again later in the game and just smiled at Matthews, wasn't shook at all.

He’s bigger, only marginally slower (looked it up .05 seconds), got the attitude of a champion and is a proven winner.

Dude just want to win so bad, look at the arrogant fuck

Kap kinda comes off as a confused kid thats obsessed with his image to me

not saying he can’t or won’t be great but he’s got some major mental issues to work with.

Rg3 is one of the most if not the most athletic QB to play the game. HIs team isn’t very good though and he isn’t 100% Kap and the 49ers should win easily.

I am about 25 minute drive away from Seattle, was born there.. Kind of want to move to North Seattle, it's falling apart because of economy and crime though (drug crime mostly I think).. Super off topic and i'm done with the random fun with elax for a while, it's very enjoyable as always though, I do appreciate the back and forth, makes the forum a lot of fun.

About Kaep, what is this physical potential? He is really thin and crumples from hits fairly easily imho. As stated above Cam Newton seems to be the most physically gifted in terms of arm strength (accuracy), size, overall athletic ability, and makes quicker reads. I actually like Andrew Luck in this regard as well! I still don't know what is happening to the Colts :crankey:

Good interesting convo to go with morning coffee, maybe i'll toss out some 5 ratings for brightening up another freezing NW morning

It's funny how when the Niners do bad it's ALL Kaepernick's fault, yet when the Colts continue to fail epicly it somehow has nothing to do with Andrew Luck. You are very biased, I think we can all see that.

As far as how is he physically better, I assume nobody watched that video... I will say this one more time to prevent being attacked though, I am not saying sports science makes Kaepernick the best QB. Just saying he tested to have higher overall physical abilities than everyone else, that is all.

Oh sports science, well

Colts have no run game and a mediocre defense, plus they are thin at WR. I havne't seen to many highlights of colts games up here, so it isn't Bias, it's more lack of exposure. I see tons of 9ers, Broncos, Pats games on local TV. NFL Network also covers those teams more heavily in discussions and highlights.

Edit: NFL Network did say 9ers have the leagues worst passing attack. Most people believe Kaep is the problem in SF in terms of offense. Gore is not being named as the problem, their run game is still seen as a strong asset, same with their defense.

Kaep hasn't exactly had a plethora of WR's to choose from either. On a possible good note, Crabtree is a "game-time decision" tonight. Can't help but wonder if he will be rusty or ready to go, and how much will they work him into the game plan.

This is the part where everyone gets pissed at me.

Its a black white thing yo :cookiemonster: I don’t think the QB is nearly as important as most people on here, because I’m a broncos fan, we won with tebow. buff said.

Its a team game, fair or not when losses start stacking up people put that on the QB. Kap doesn’t get hated on nearly as much as some guys Romo, Rivers. I think most of the people on here see that Kap could be a really good player and thats why they hate on him. Me personally, i don’t like his mindset and even though he had nothing to do with it, hate him for how dirty the 49ers did A.Smith.

I kinda like the cocky pricks of the sporting world. Kaep is too self conscious man.

I agree with a lot of that. Romo definitely receives a lot of hate, and Matt Schaub took a pretty brutal beating from his own fans, poor guy. Us Niners fans still stand by Kaep no matter what (because we're cocky like you guys say ).

I also agree Kaep has a very egotistical mindset, and it pisses me off a lot. Lots of examples of it, like his stupid reaction to the Dolphins hat thing, "Dis da hat y'all mad at? I wear what I want..." First of all, this guy comes from a straight white upper-middle class family (the race of his biological father is irrelevant), no reason for that kind of grammar . Second of all, show some friggin respect for your team/fans! Yes, Kaepernick has the right to wear what he wants but at least he could have been more respectful and understanding of the situation.

I also didn't really like what happened to Alex Smith. As a Niners fan he had my full support. I had faith in him even during the times when he was getting booed off the field. We had a losing record and I was still telling people, "Don't blame Alex Smith, this guy will do something great for us." So yes, it hurt me to see him get played like that. But, what am I supposed to do? It's not like I'm going to abandon my team and go be a Chiefs fan  Only option is to have faith in Kaepernick.

Wow mentioning Schuab now, you know he's a terrible QB. Andre Johnson raging at the Texans

No real need to bring Crabtree back for the Redskins game, 9ers defense and Gore should be more than enough. unless Redskins put it together and quit playing the blame game with each other, they are in for a long night.
