First grow question - SGFC with Cambodians (UPDATE)

Hi,
I have been trying to find specific answers all day, but I'm getting a bit overwhelmed.
Ok so I birthed three cakes and put them in a 52 Liter tub, holes are just under 1/4 inch (6.0 mm) I have placed about 4 inches of wet / drained perlite. I have only 80% humidity, but from constant reading it could be a cheap reader and I should wrap it in a damp towel to see if it is reading correctly.
Now when I first put my cakes in the chamber, I misted every 30mins for 2 hours, then I misted again this morning.
My questions are basically Did I mist correctly when putting in the chamber - I waited 30 mins for the first mist for the verm to dry first?
Did I miss any steps here?
Can I leave the humidity as is, not worry I've read quite a few posts saying humidity is not as important as misting and fanning?
Lastly these being Cambodians do they require a special light, I have a window with indirect sunlight coming into the room?
Thank you and apologies in advance for being such a n00b.
UPDATE : So it turns out I didn't in fact have enough perlite, I was going of the How to grow mushrooms video and they state the perlite should have been about a hand width from the bottom, I assumed this would have been about 5 inches, coming from a metric system I dont deal with inches a lot, but I added another 5 liter bag and its now roughly 3.34 inches and my humidity did hit 90%, I hope someone else will be able to learn from my mistake.
I also noticed that the myc was going a bit fluffy and overtaking the verm, from further reading I discovered this was due to not enough FAE - my holes are roughly 2 inches apart but perhaps it was not elevated enough being on two bricks with alot of plastic underneath, I elevated it slightly higher and will mist / fan more than twice a day. Hopefully with these changes it will have less c02 build up. Here is a pic of the fluffy myc.

Holes spread apart every 2" in a grid pattern on all 6 sides?

Mist the cakes directly with a fine mist until they glisten, then fan out the chamber.
Mist again only when the water you previously applied has evaporated.

If the chamber was built right(1/4" holes every 2" in a grid pattern on all 6 sides) then your humidity is fine and the hygrometer is just fucking with you.

Indirect sunlight is fine....they should be getting 12 hours of it....along with 12 of darkness....

Yes, the holes are approx 2 inches apart, although I was not to anal about the exact length I measured out the first distance and then eyed the rest of them so they were in a grid like pattern.
I also had a tough time rolling the cakes and getting the verm to stick on them after a 24 hour dunk then rinse, so they are not completely covered 100% with the verm.

Will do, and sorry about the pics. I'm at work and I thought I could find the answers and didn't take any prior to posting,
