I believe this game will determine who wins the Superbowl, unless N.E. makes it from the AFC. Then I'm not sure.

in the sense that whoever wins this game will very likely win the #1 seed in the NFC.
saints have to play carolina twice, rams and tampa. could very easily lose one of those games, as could the seahawks lose to 49ers, rams, cardinals, and giants.
13-3 will be the NFC #1 seed. i doubt seattle or the saints finish at 14-2

Seahawks only play 49ers and Giants on the road, and the other two at home. If they beat the Saints I don't see splitting those last four as a best case scenario.

i could see them losing to the 49ers and possibly either being upset by the rams, or just resting people if the #1 seed is clinched. all 3 of their last games are against teams who have been surging relatively to themselves.
i see the saints splitting with carolina, and if that is the case, it looks like the saints could possibly play carolina for a third time in the second round of the playoffs... even if carolina somehow continued the streak to take the NFC south they would still likely play the saints again.
i see the seeding like this:
1- seattle 2-NO 3- nfc north winner 4- nfc east winner 5-carolina 6- 49ers
seattle vs 49ers saints vs carolina
which would make for an extremely interesting playoff. wonder how often the divisionals have come down to double divisional rivals.

I think Carolina is gonna beat the Saints, it's not a given that the Saints win their own division.

Yea everyone on ESPN says it's weed but with uncertainty. I read a story about former Cowboy/Bear WR Sam Hurd who got arrested for selling huge amounts of weed. He said lots of people in the league smoke

I am willing to bet you right now the winner of this game will not win the super bowl.
Wanna take it?
Even if somehow one does the product of this game means nothing towards the Super Bowl.
That sam hurd dude was selling coke and is sitting in prison because he’s a dumbass. Game is next monday. Thread is way too early.

Home field advantage means a lot, but this one game won't necessarily dictate that. I doubt either team wins out the rest of their schedule

Already going ahead and saying who wins this game, wins the super bowl is ridiculous.
Anyone wanna go back and tell me the last time a first seed team actually won the Super Bowl

Good point. How about the last time Seattle had a 1st seed. 2005. Lost in the SB to a steelers team who I think was a wildcard. Awful awful day.

Yup 6th seed too....
I think Berman was right in his little monologue last night. There is a very good chance the Super Bowl winner isn’t even on the radar right now and is sitting around .500
Chargers are pretty legit. Pittsburgh has been awfully quite. Cards are pretty stout. Don’t count out green bay

If they get their defense together, who’s to say they don’t get hot. They certainly got the talent
Im convinced winning a Super Bowl is just all about being hot at the right time.

Yep agreed. If seattle pulls homefield advantage they will be hard to stop going towards a SB.

Last first seed to win was the 2009 saints, then the 2003 pats.
Both front runners (Seahawks,Saints) have 3 hard games left. NFC is wide open.
